Our baptismal covenants say we are to 'mourn with those who mourn, and comfort those who stand in need of comfort.' How much more important are our covenants if we are the people causing the mourning and causing the discomfort of others? We're supposed to comfort the afflicted, but if we're also the ones afflicting them and making them uncomfortable, what bigger a responsibility we have theologically to do better and to be better.

Body Found on I-290 Identified

A body found along I-290 near Wolf Road on Monday afternoon has been identified.

Police released information identifying the man as LaShawn Williams, 22, of Plainfield, IL.

The investigation of his death is ongoing, but he is believed to have been struck by a car.
