Currently dreaming about Ashton taking Luke on a little date to a seafood cafe on the water in the middle of spring. They’re both dressed in soft cream-colored hoodies to protect from the cool ocean wind. Here, Ashton takes pictures of a smiley Luke as he digs into his seafood. It’s mostly sunny but slightly chilly in the breeze and shade. Everything in the picture is a hazy white and blue like Luke’s smiling eyes. They hold hands on the drive home. On the radio is a song that carries over the wind flooding the car with the windows down to the point the reach of the song feels infinite. Everything turns gold as the sun descends on the horizon, including Luke. I just think that would be a real crisp memory to make. 🐚💙☀️🤍🌊
If you know me, you know spoiled Luke is my kink. And I don’t just mean spoiled with all his YSL shirtd and fancy cars with red interior or whatever. I mean that Ashton wouldn’t even let him lift a finger around the house. If there’s laundry, Ashton does it. If Luke’s hungry, Ashton takes care of it. Ashton won’t even let Luke lay down on the bed if it’s even slightly uncomfortable, and even though he prefers a more firm mattress, his bunny likes all things squishy and soft so he invested a lot of money into their giant, expensive bed. And on a similar note, he’s created a monster. Luke’s a whiny pillow princess with no respect other than the kind that’s spanked into him. He’s a brat, and he gets everything he wants all because he’s the most beautiful baby Ashton has ever seen.
“Can we please get ice cream?” Luke whines.
“You have some in the fridge,” Ashton answers sternly, not looking up from his phone.
“But it’s not the same,” Luke whispers. And his fingers walk up Ashton’s chest. And his lips form the most adorable pout. And he’s somehow managed to give his eyes a dewy, glazed over look.
And that doesn’t even account for all the slutty outfits that have ended up being thrown to the side—along with Ashton’s morals—as he gives into his favorite blonde helplessly. Would anyone in their right mind deny Luke of a rim job when he looked like that?
Ashton is weak, and red is one of his favorite colors on Luke. He has no choice but to eat Luke out with a silky crimson shirt falling off his shoulder and his milky thighs spread apart. He caves and lets the sweet boy take and take and take as long as he keeps moaning his name where everyone can hear.
here, have a sprinkle of some lashton thoughts)basically a big clustefuck of my mind):
sidenote: discusses a low point and depressive tendencies. i’m not quite sure where this came from but please, feel free to pass it up.
worlds of words are being created from each end of the house, music notes tie them together in new sounds of shattering hearts towards an uplifting crescendo of dreams come true. Luke is in one room strumming and scribbling away while Ashton is tapping and humming along to the music of colors floating in his mind. it’s been like this for a solid three weeks and while you love the creativity ebbing and flowing from them, it’s taken away from your own personal time with them.
are you being a teensy selfish? maybe. are you extremely jealous when one of them wanders into the other’s room to create something together and you’re left outside of the door? extremely so.
this morning started out like any other, Ashton’s fingers tracing your face lightly while Luke rubs your back until you’re awake. Soft kisses and ‘good morning’s’ are exchanged in sleepy voices and just when you’re about to really cuddle, they leave you claiming it’s time for breakfast.
grumbling and mumbling a few choice words towards their retreating backs, you fold yourself back into the sheets. you’re surrounded by the smell of both Luke and Ashton, the closest you’ve been to them lately, leftover aftershave.
you hear them tinker downstairs, quiet chatter and a few laughs float up over your quilt covered head. after a few minutes you hear them shuffle back upstairs. they’re talking of their schedules for the day then calls your name. you breathe shallowly under the blanket, silently begging one of them to tear the bedding away.
“let’s let her sleep, she’s been tossing and turning a lot lately,” luke says.
“wonder why that is?”
“dunno, she’ll come find us when she wakes up.”
defeated and crushed, you continue to listen as they head to their respective rooms. have you really been tossing and turning in your sleep? you’re in a weird mood that has no name and you’re surprised when tears spring in your eyes when they left you in bed all alone. then you become angry because you should just tell them what’s going on but...you can’t.
why? you wish you knew.
the tears keep flowing until the saltwater drifts you on the ocean of sleep and the world fades away.
the next time you wake your eyes are puffy, your nose a little stuffy and you’re hot. you kick the bedding off you, cool air smacking your face and you roll over to ashton’s side of the bed where your phone is. you slept for nearly four hours and have multiple texts from ashton and luke.
breakfast is on the counter, lovie
coffee is still hot in the pot, angel
what are your plans for the day?
come find me when you’re awake
how about chinese for dinner?
luke wants chinese, what do you think?
they texted you in succession every hour, but you didn’t feel like responding and just read through them all. sighing, you roll back over to luke’s side staring out the window. the leaves shake in the breeze and a flock of birds fly overhead. you land on the photo of the three of you at some party. you’re sat in the middle, legs crossed and leaning into Luke’s back while still also being curved into Ashton as well. their hands are joined on top of your knee, your smiles radiant and shining with love and comfort.
you slip off the bed to use the toilet, wash your face and brush your teeth. your face is still splotchy from your tears, your stomach grumbles but you head back into bed anyway.
something is hollowing in your chest as you gaze at the ceiling, you’re still unsure what mood this is but you let it consume you. the best way out is through and you don’t want to bug them with your inane influx of emotions.
somehow you end up falling asleep again and the door handle turning is what awakens you. peering over your shoulder, you peek to see Ashton enter with Luke very close behind. Both of their brows are furrowed and you can sense their anxiety.
“you’ve been up here all day,” ashton says falling next to you. he pushes hair away from your face to look at your eyes. “have you been crying?”
“crying?!” luke asks as you bury your face in the mattress. you feel him dip on your other side. “why are you crying? what hurts?”
you shake your head as more tears well up, wetting the sheets as you feel their hands in your hair and on your back, then on your legs as if inspecting to find a broken bone or cut.
“angel, talk to us please. what’s happened?” ashton asks softly by your ear.
“how can we help?”
you cry more, guilt washing over you as you don’t deserve their concern. you brought this on yourself, not speaking up in the first place. they’ll hate you for being so selfish.
“we could never hate you, lovie,” luke says trying to lift your head from the bed.
had you said that out loud? when it becomes hard to breathe, you lose your own fight by flipping over, hair clinging to your tear stained face. they both wipe at your tears and dab at your nose as you gasp for breath.
“shh, shh, it’s okay, you’re all right,” ashton hushes cradling your head against his arm. luke takes your hand in his giving it a kiss and places his other hand on the inside of your thigh. the tickle of his fingers helps calm you down, but only slightly.
“I feel...” your eyes follow the fan above rotating, trying to find the right words. “i feel lonely. like i’m not here, you’re both in your rooms writing and singing which is wonderful but i’m out here everyday in my own world. watching tv, cleaning, reading, sitting outside and i’m alone and i feel selfish for thinking that. but i also feel weird...i’m in a mood that’s just...odd and i didn’t know i was tossing and turning or if i was even sleepy while i slept all day. i’m feeling nothing and everything.” the words vomit out of your mouth, they don’t even make sense to you so how would they understand?
Luke sighs then changes position to lay his head on your stomach, his baby blues peer up at you sadly.
“we have been pretty busy with our writing, haven’t we?”
“I’m sorry, angel,” ashton rubs your cheek. “we never meant to do that. we always want to spend time with you, you lighten up our life so much.”
“I should have brought this up weeks ago,” luke says, “you’ve been tossing nearly every night. that’s not like you and i should’ve realized--we’ll make it up to you. tonight and tomorrow we’re all yours. no music writing.”
“I don’t want to take you away from that,” you cry as a new set of tears spill over.
“no, no, no, don’t think like that,” ashton says, “we need to find a balance and we were spiraling down a creative hole with no way of knowing where we’ll end up. you’re our balance.”
“but i’m so unbalanced right now,” you mumble looking between the two of them. they smile at your little quip.
“so are we,” luke kisses your tummy. “let’s figure it out together.”
“you can always come to us and tell us what you’re feeling, we’ll understand and if we don’t, we’ll try to.” ashton kisses your temple.
“we love you,” luke says inching up to press a kiss to your cheek. he keeps kissing your face until you’re laughing at the tickle of his scruff.
you hide your head in ashton’s chest, his arms pull you close and then you feel luke sidle up behind you. his arm moves around you as he spoons you, his face tucked into your neck.
“I love you guys, too,” you say.
“how about we take a beat in the hot tub, let the bubbles remove our stress. we’ll talk everything out,” ashton suggests.
“that sounds nice,” you sigh but close your eyes to the sound of his heart. you feel luke’s heartbeat as well, you’re surrounded by a symphony of love. “can we stay for a little while longer?”
could i get 71 and 75 from the random dialogue prompt list?? (as for a pairing; surprise me !)
#71: “How’s the weather down there babe?”
#75: “Just jump, I’ll catch you.”
Prompt List
Castle Guard in Training Ashton x Stable Hand Luke :)
Ashton and Luke had spent the lunch hour in the royal orchards, hiding in the branches as they ate their meals. It was still too early in the season for fruit so they’d just been breathing in the smell of the apple blossoms as they chatted, enjoying the extra cover of the flowers as they stole kisses and passing touches.
The pair could tell that their small window of time was coming together as the sun came out of the height of its daily arc, meaning it was time for Ashton to get back to the castle and for Luke to head back to the stables. Luke leaned in for one last kiss and after parting, Ashton tossed his pail to the ground before pushing off of the branch they’d been sitting on together.
The limb bounced with the loss of weight, leading Luke to grab the trunk for balance, blue eyes wide until the movement stopped. While this wasn’t the first time he and Ashton had spent lunch together, this was the first time spent up in a tree. It had sounded like a great idea when Ashton suggested it, but now faced with the prospect of having to get down, Luke found himself stuck.
“How’s the weather down there, babe?” the blonde called, hoping to sound casual despite his pounding heart.
“It’s pretty good,” Ashton responded with a smile, “Be better if you were next to me though.”
“Yeah...about that,” Luke squeaked, cheeks turning pink as he was about to admit to being stuck.
Ashton’s expression changed as understanding hit him, “Hey, it’s ok, toss me your pail first.” Luke pulled his eyebrows together, confused, but did as the guard asked. Ashton easily caught it, setting it in the grass and held out his arms again. “Just jump, I’ll catch you.”
Luke swallowed, but he trusted Ashton more than his own legs and nodded, giving the other man a count of three before he pushed off of the branch. He yelped as he flew through the air, but soon he was in Ashton’s warm embrace, the older man providing a soft landing as he tumbled backwards to the grass under the stablehand’s weight. As soon as Ashton got his breath back he said, “See, easy as that.”
Luke chuckled softly, pressing a kiss to Ashton’s cheek, “Sure, easy.”
He rolled onto the grass, finding his abandoned boots and began pulling them back on while Ashton found his chainmail and helmet, both of them rushing back to their posts before they could be missed.
I love the idea of poly!Lashton where you and Luke are supposed to meet Ashton at a cafe for brunch. The two of you are sitting at a cute table outside in the sun and then Ash shows up holding a bouquet of flowers for each of you just because he walked by a florist on the way and couldn't resist buying flowers for his partners.
This is so SWEET. I love the idea of poly relationship dynamics that are just adorable.
Ashton knowing your favorite flower, and Luke's specific request for daisies so that he could make little decorations absentmindedly that he saw on Instagram a few weeks before. You would have ordered Ashton an iced black coffee, sitting right next to the gluten free menu that he would be so adamant about with having clean options (unless he had chest meals with the two of you at home).
He would kiss Luke first because he would have complained about Ashton always paying more attention to you in public. You knew that was Luke's way of fishing for more PDA, but they would look so sweet it wouldn't matter. Ashton would give you a peck on your lips and give you a small 'hi', taking the chair across from the two of you.
I think he would want to document how wonderful the two of you looked with your fresh flowers wrapped in white paper. Ashton would pull out his phone in an almost embarrassing manner and take a photo of you holding your bouquet and pressing your face into Luke's shoulder. It would end up on Ashton's story with a small caption of 'love you both endlessly', which would just make your heart flutter as you waited for brunch.
Ashton would have his hand on your upper thigh as Luke laced your fingers with his on the table. You would be able to feel their love for you and each other as you spoke about how you would divide chores when you got home.
In which Ashton must cope with the self imposed guilt of costing his football team a playoff run. And Luke is there to help ease the pain.

“It’s over,” Ashton murmured, his voice was low and strained. Guilt consumed him, swallowed him whole like the abandoned locker room.
The season was over. Any prospect of going to the playoffs trampled and broken. Ashton was convinced it was his fault. The last play of the game sitting heavy on his shoulders. Wrapped tight around his ribs and making it difficult to breathe. He knew he was injured, he could feel the splice of pain shooting up his back. But it didn’t matter. Not to him. Not in that moment.
He was transfixed on the fact the ball had fumbled out of his hands, that he hadn’t thrown it away before or kept it close as he was sacked. It happened too quick for him to process, too fast for his body to catch up and do what needed to be done. No one blamed him but himself. The strip sack and scoop and score felt entirely his fault. But the offensive line looked just as guilty; they missed blocks and left him unprotected. If winning was a team effort then so was losing. Except Ashton couldn’t see it that way. All he could see was the replay on the big screen; the way he fell, the awkward twist of his body and his hands dropping the ball before he could be ruled down. The silence of the empty locker room helped bring that moment back to him in full force. With no one around to distract his thoughts and remedy the pain of losing Ashton was succumbing to the self imposed guilt.
“It’s my fault,” he mumbled to no one, again. He leaned forward on the bench, back screaming with sharp pain that he ignored in favor of sitting with his misery; chin in his hands and gaze casted at the floor.
“It’s not,” a familiar voice broke through the gray haze.
Ashton let his eyes look up, thinking twice about moving from his position as the pain settled. His most trusted wide receiver stood in the doorway, uniform already replaced by casual clothes. Luke stepped back into the locker room, blue eyes awash with concern as he took in Ashton’s state. Ashton had only abandoned his helmet thus far; his jersey, padding, pants and cleats still donned his body. Ashton was embarrassed to admit he’d thrown his helmet across the locker room in a moment alone with his frustration. It laid discarded on the tile floor, scuffed as it slid into metal and halted with a haunting crash.
Luke moved toward Ashton, took a seat on the bench next to him and placed a comforting hand on his thigh. Ashton didn’t move to sit up and accommodate Luke, too scared that pain would glint in his eyes and cross his face in a grimace. All he did was put a hand over his; thankful for the offering. Luke was warm and constant. He was the last person Ashton looked to before the linebacker had taken him down. Luke had run his route seamlessly but there was hesitation in Ashton as two cornerbacks settled to double team him. An interception would have been just as bad.
“I didn’t throw it to you,” Ashton said, shaking his head though the ache in his back protested. “I could’ve. You could’ve scored.”
“I was double teamed.”
“You’ve caught it under that pressure before,” Ashton reminded him, to which Luke only gave a comforting squeeze and slid just a bit closer.
“Not with them. They’re the best in the league, Ash. They would’ve picked it or had me down before my feet hit the ground. And you knew that. You made the right choice.”
The gap between them on the bench was minimal as Luke pressed in even closer, just like usual. Whatever bonds they had on the field translated to all that and more off the field. Luke’s hand slid off Ashton’s thigh and out from under his hand, moved towards his lower back and ripped away when Ashton flinched. It took a moment to right himself, to sit up fully and face Luke.
“Fuck,” Ashton groaned, wishing at least one thing would go in his favor that night. He knew he wouldn’t be able to hide the injury forever; especially not from Luke who would accompany him home. But he wished it wouldn’t have happened so soon. He wanted time to be frustrated and not pitied.
“I knew you were hurt,” Luke accused, switching gears. “You should’ve said something while the trainers were here.”
Ashton waved it off. It was a familiar pain; likely a disc in his back he hoped he could nurse on his own. “I’m fine. The season is over anyway. Doesn’t make a damn difference if I’m hurt or not.”
Luke let out an exasperated sigh. “It does. To me.”
Ashton frowned, realizing what Luke meant. His hiding things from him wasn’t an okay habit to slip into. On the field or off. They needed trust and communication.
“I’m sorry, you’re right,” Ashton conceded and let Luke help him up. Help him out of his gear and into the clothes in his locker. It took a lot longer than usual, and though Ashton was embarrassed he needed to be babied he let Luke do what needed to be done.
They headed back for the car, walking slow with Luke helping Ashton along. The fans had dispersed as quickly as possible. Home town losses—especially ones where wins would have brought them to the playoffs—usually ended in embarrassed fans getting the hell out of dodge as soon as possible. Ashton was thankful for that, knowing that if fans lingered the walk would have been filled with even more shame.
“We always have next season,” Luke reminded as they approached the car.
“Not if they trade or cut me, no way they keep me after costing them a playoff run,” Ashton said weakly and then bit his tongue when Luke gave him a piercing glare.
“If they don’t keep you, I still will. Not getting rid of me that easy,” Luke said with a wink. Ashton appreciated the attempt to lighten the mood and the sincerity of his words. He knew he’d still have Luke, no matter what.
“I’d never want to get rid of you,” Ashton promised as he pressed a quick kiss to Luke’s cheek in the dark of the night.
“Good,” Luke said as he helped Ashton into the passenger seat. “Now quit your moping. We have a whole offseason ahead of us. Don’t need guilt eating you while we’re on vacation.”
Ashton laughed, feeling a bit lighter for the first time since dropping the ball. Luke always understood him and what he needed. Sometimes it was a sharp reminder of reality, sometimes it was soft words of understanding and encouragement, and sometimes it was a fierce mixture of both. Whatever it was, Luke was Ashton’s constant in every aspect of life.
I really like 70. “After everything we’ve been through, you still don’t think that I love you?” and it FEELS like an Ashton or lashton prompt but any pairing would be great!
okay, so I chose lashton bc they really have been living in my mind rent-free. also, I’m so sorry this got so sad
Warnings: angst, insecurities, fears of cheating, hurt/comfort
70. “After everything we’ve been through, you still don’t think that I love you?”
Ashton sighed as he scrolled through his twitter, his eyes jumping from tweet to tweet as he attempted to exhaust himself. Every once and a while, a small chuckle escaped his lips as he flicked through the various memes on his timeline. Just as he prepared to set his phone down for the night, a new tweet popped up with a bold headline.
Luke Hemmings, of 5 Seconds of Summer, steps out with a new mystery brunette as he leaves local bar.
Ashton’s breath seemed to catch in his throat as he reread the headline a few more times before gaining the courage to click on the link. As the bright webpage loaded on his phone, he nervously messed with his fingers as the photos finally appeared on the page. His stomach had jumped to his throat as his eyes caught sight of his boyfriend, hand in hand with a beautiful brunette he hadn’t recognized from anywhere else. He continued to scroll through the page, scanning the photos that showed the pair of them getting into an uber together before he tossed his phone across the room. With tears prickling his eyes he buried his head into his hands.
It wasn’t that he didn’t trust Luke, of course, he did. But, all throughout their relationship, his insecurities lingered throughout his mind. Luke was younger and much more attractive than he was, so he always feared that one day Luke would wise up and leave.
His cries filled the bedroom as his mind jumped to various conclusions and his thoughts began tormenting him that his worst fears had been realized. Through his tears, he hadn’t heard the door to his room door open and he hadn’t felt the bed dip beside him.
“Ash? Sweetheart? What’s wrong?” Luke’s gentle voice tore at his heart, as he was pulled into the blonde’s arms. Ashton moved his hands from his face and wrapped his arms around Luke’s chest, trying to pull him as close as he could. Luke remained quiet as Ashton continued to cry into his chest, and tried to reassure him as best as he could without knowing what was wrong. Eventually, Ashton’s cries died down, and he pulled away from Luke’s embrace to wipe away his tears.
“‘M sorry, I’m fine it...it was stupid.”
“It’s not stupid if you’re that upset Ash,” Luke reached out to rub his back, but when Ashton flinched away, he was quick to retract his hand. “Is... is it something I did?”
“It’s nothing Luke, I told you it was stupid, please just go to bed.” Ash sighed, trying to brush the incident under the rug but Luke wasn’t having it.
“Ash, please just talk to me. We need to talk about this, especially if I did something to upset you.”
“It was a stupid tweet okay! I saw some pictures of you and that brunette girl leaving the fucking bar, and it just....it fucking got to me okay! Drop it.” He snapped, dropping his head into his hands as Luke sits in stunned silence. The quiet hangs on for a few moments before he finally speaks.
“After everything we’ve been through, you still don’t think that I love you?”
“No, of course I don’t think that. It’s just... my stupid brain runs wild sometimes,” He admits, finally allowing his thoughts to pour free, “and it’s so hard not to think these thoughts when they never stop popping up in my head. You’re so beautiful Luke, and you deserve so much more than me.”
Ashton’s outpouring of words shatters Luke’s heart the moment silence falls between them. His heart feels as if it’s been ripped out of his chest, and he’s unsure of how exactly he’ll not only be able to fix the hole in his heart but the one in Ashton’s as well.
Mmkay dom Ashton tying you and Luke to the bed or maybe handcuffing you together (or both I mean whatever) and ties a vibrator to your leg and puts a vibrating plug in Luke and then just sits back and watches his two favorite subs just loose their minds that’s the dream my dude -Bell
BELL. can you fucking imagine. like you and Luke are tied next to each other and can’t move and you’re both moaning and whining because the vibrations arent enough and you both want Ashton but he’s just sitting in a chair next to the bed on his phone completely ignoring you. you and Luke definitely manage to hold hands even in your ties up state and it’s just like holy shit you’re both going insane for Ashton but he won’t even look up.
he can hear in your sounds that you’re both close and finally looks up, “beg me to let you cum.” and you and Luke just begin begging like your life depends on it. oof. Ashton finally putting his phone down and doing something to make you and Luke both cum extra hard like fingering you or rubbing Luke but first he makes you fight over who wants to cum first.
