I might sound dramatic right now, but I've been following this story for almost eight years. It's been a constant part of my life, from high school all the way through college. I watched characters I loved grow and felt an increasingly deep connection with them. All this time, I had countless ideas for fanarts, animatics, scenes I wanted to bring to life with my own hands. But I never let myself. I would think: "This idea is too good for my current skill level. I'll practice first, and then I'll do it." But that "later" never came. I kept postponing it, waiting to be "good enough," waiting for my art to evolve, waiting for the right moment. And while I waited, time simply passed. Now the servers are close to their official shutdown. The end has come, officially. The story is over. And I realized that what hurts me isn't just the end of the work itself, but everything I didn’t get to live with it. I didn’t experience the excitement of the moment, drawing hyped up between new releases. I didn’t allow myself to make mistakes and grow alongside what I loved. I wanted to create something so magnificent, something worthy of my passion, that it paralyzed me. And today, the regret isn’t about not drawing better, it’s about not drawing sooner, together with the journey. This amateur fanart is, finally, a small gesture. And I intend to create all the others I didn’t make before. It’s a farewell to an era that brought me so much happiness. A delayed letter. I did this for myself. I did it because it still matters. Because even if it didn’t turn out like I imagined years ago, it’s still worth creating. I did it to close this chapter in my own way. I am deeply grateful to all the FFBE team members for these 10 years of dedication. You created something that became a part of who I was for nearly a decade. I will truly miss this story, which will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you so much, and happy 10th anniversary. 💙
(Sorry for my English. I'm not fluent yet, but I did my best haha.)
Rain and Lasswell, but they wore Warrior of Light and Cecil Harvey costumes from FFI and FFIV.
[logs into exvius for the first time in months] hmm. boys.
🥰 One of my favourite moments in Season 2 🥰
Couldn't think of a better way to have celebrated FFBE's 3rd anniversary 💕
