the Freljordian Queen seemed quite amused as to why the wanderer would tell her such a thing in the first place . it is not as if her word will hold any importance to him , so there should be no reason for him to waste his breath on the likes of her . the Queen was never one to give much thought of those who have been exiled from their homes . surely , the leaders had their reasons for such an action but she and her Husband were never one to see things that way . ‘ barbaric ‘ is what those outside her castle walls call her and her Lover . 

blood will be spilled in front of all . her people must witness that she does not play games when treason is committed under her rule . while many believe it is the King that chose for things to be this way , it was actually Queen Ashe - herself - that requested for something so immoral and inhumane . not only does it strike fear into the eyes of her allies , but she knows it will also make them think twice about crossing her .

          The other man’s words are regarded with naught more than a SCOFF from the executioner. In all honesty, he hadn’t expected an Ionian to even dare speak to him, let alone speak in his general presence – deep down, he wondered if the samurai was so keen on figuring out he was not as Noxian as he appeared to be. For even as the empire cared not for nationality, DRAVEN wasn’t the man to wear it on his sleeve ( or lack thereof ).

          But he finds the corners of his lips tug upwards into a smug grin, emerald eyes settling on the swordsman. When he’d brought up the faults in some Ionians, he EXPECTED the retort he got: something along the lines of painting Noxians as the villains of the story.

          “ Y’know, when you take into account the individuality of every citizen and soldier, not every Noxian is a terrible person. ”

          A reminder, or perhaps advice. Though he said nothing more on that particular subject, arms crossing over his chest. After all, why would an Ionian listen to a MURDERER of tooth and claw? In the eyes of their nation, he was hardly more than a wolf loyal to its pack, awaiting the time to strike. He almost pitied them, really, for their blind simple mindedness.

          “ It’s hardly fair to consider Noxians worse when chaos storms within your nation. – I know of the murders, the feud between clans. I’m not as daft as you may believe, and word travels fast when you’re as popular as me. People will tell me ANYTHING. ”

          SHE  watches on with idle curiosity, amber eyes glimmering from deep within the shadows as her tails flit to and fro. He moves with the swiftness and confidence of a howling wind, and the men who had tailed him thus far fell one by one. A thick silence settled in the clearing as the final man breathed his last, the animals and insects contributing to the pregnant pause before announcing their presence.
