WHAT'S YOUR HAPPINESS?

According to Wikipedia, happiness is

‘A mental or emotional state of well-being characterized by positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy’

I definitely find it difficult to define happiness, because it covers such a vast range of emotions, memories, adventures and activities. One day, I was scrolling down my Twitter newsfeed (as one does a couple times a day) and I came across a website called ‘Last Lemon’. They draw super cute little cartoons with the caption ‘Happiness Is…’ followed by a short sentence, ranging from something like ‘watching the sea’ to ‘a bicycle made for two’.  Of course, I thought it was such a cute idea I definitely spent the next hour flicking through the pictures and feeling my smile widen every time I clicked 'next'. The little squiggley stick men and women seemed to capture the simple but effective happiness, the little but meaningful happiness, the ‘no matter how big or small it is’ happiness. Happiness is different for everyone!

I enjoy the cartoons by Last Lemon so much, I’ve decided to start a little blog (okay… It’s a Tumblr blog, not a fancy one)! I’ll be posting a few pictures that attempt to capture my happiness. Maybe we’ll share some things that make us happy, maybe we won’t! However, I do hope it reminds you that there's something to be happy about every day :)
