A sigh escaped past Eponia’s lips before she ruffled her sister’s hair. “Alright, I caved. I’ll go. But only if you promise to write letters to me to save me from my own head. And once the farm is organized, I’ll return to Brawnlyn.”

I was tagged by @fallenfurther and this is from my upcoming chapter from Love Story. It’s technically two sentences but I had to be generous so it made a little sense and had some tension.

Natasha followed the group down through the house leaving behind the sound of Thunderbird 1 being controlled by remote back to her launchpad, and soon found hardwood turn into lino under her feet, the infirmary was as big as the other rooms in the house but decorated in very basic colours. Her thoughts were interrupted by Kayo’s sudden yelp and her head whipped round to see the tall girl run over to one of the beds which Virgil and Gordon were standing beside.
