This is so so so sooooo late on the birthday wishes thing but THANK YOU also I was waiting to answer until I organically heard something by Noah Kahan but knew I was about to (if that makes sense; I know it doesn’t) and YES. I heard Stick Season (or more precisely Olivia Rodrigo’s cover of it) but I really love it and it’s been in my head a bunch!

You were forced to open your business on the border of several mafia territories (it explained why it was the first building you could find to lease, lol) You don’t know how this happened, but the three mafia men running those territories have become very interested in you. Yeah you’re great and all, but you wonder if there’s some competition going on between them because today they each gave you massive presents. Which one earned them their first date?

-Mafia Bucky: he waltzed into your store this morning with a massive grin, your favorite coffee and dropped off a bill of sale with you. He bought the building your business is based in and put it in your name

-Mafia Andy: he dropped by after lunch and gave you a tiny black book full of names and contacts. It seems small, but it’s full of people you can expand your business with (legally) and is going to be invaluable in helping it grow. And you know if you drop Andy’s name, these people will beg to do business with you

-mafia Steve: while you were locking up, Steve strolled up with three people following behind him. He informs you their salaries have been paid through the year and they fit roles of things you’d needed help with. Three new employees for you without you needing to worry about paying them until you start making a profit.

-honestly, you’re feeling like a bone being fought over by three dogs. You don’t like how over the top these guys are, so you go home, have some wine and figure out how you’re either going to get them to back off, or agree to share you

I'm going to go with Bucky. He brought my favorite coffee which means he attempted to learn something about me. And owning the building means I can rent out the other parts of it and use those profits to expand my business.

Andy's book of names could backfire and my interactions with them all depend on how he feels about me. At least with Buckys gift, I'm in control.

And Steve's gift could be the worst. Three random people? What if we clash? What if they're horrible employees and now I have to decide if I want to inform the mafia boss and risk him "removing" them or put up with them?

what are your notp and a bizarre crossover with a show you’ve never heard of?

No-tp is Bucky x Shuri. She is a teenager. He's 106. I can't.

I've never watched leverage but I've been peripheral to it but I actually really like to read stories that are based on it/crossed over with it.

If I had to write one, I would challenge myself to a crossover with sense 8. Amazing little show on Netflix that was cancelled too soon and not enough people have seen.

Aang basically did found Republic City. Remember the Fire Nation Colonies? They became Republic City.

Yeah I actually read some of the comics where they explained that! I didn’t read all of them bc I started getting bored of it, but i got most of the story I think. there was like, this sacred air nomad place but they built a factory over it, and then a town started around the factory and it grew into a city really fast. And aang had a pretty big part in all of it, it was pretty cool.
