Her story touched me more than I expected at the beginning. In my playthrough I had her choose to wield the Blood of Lathander instead of The Spear (TM) after she made her choice in the Shadowfell to represent her continued faith in herself rather than any one god (Plus like.... the item is so good). I think she had that strength in her all along. She's such an icon.

This was inspired by her blasting the ever-dying sh*t out of Cazador.

Y’all real talk I need someone to talk about my DnD oc with. I still have a few missing pieces I need to flush out but don’t have many people to geek with DDDD:

Her name is Ardel; she’s a protector aasimar cleric of Lathandar. She keeps her hair is this really intricate braid because it isn’t actually affected by gravity? And like???? She doesn’t necessarily want everyone to know she’s an aasimar.

For backstory, my main plot right now is that she’s always been told as an aasimar (maybe from her clan? Her church? Not sure yet) that she would be gifted a celestial guide to steer her into her role in life. But she’s never heard anything from anyone??? So her dedication to the church is to try and find the source she keeps being told of. More or less her mentality is “Well where tf is my guide and wtf am I suppose to be doing fuck it I’m going straight to god for an answer”
