I honestly think Jason is the type to either cringe at compliments/nice words or just not know how to respond. And then he'd replay the moment in his head over and over while laying in bed, staring at the ceiling. It'll haunt him in the shower the next day for good measure.

Have this image that has haunted me for months: Red Hood as the King of Crime, lounging on his throne, with Red Robin as his left hand man standing in the shadows behind him.

(I have so much lore tied to this image but I can't find the time to write it lol I just love the idea of Jason snatching the title off the Joker out of spite.

He puts down another gang not following his rules and one of them asks, half sarcastic and half terrified, "Who died and made you the King of Crime?"

Replying to your post about some Jaytim requests

So I have this envision of gamer Tim in an oversized t-shirt hanging off his shoulder, bare legs and wearing a cat eared headset. And having Jason maybe turned on or something seeing Tim like that

I started writing a fic about it but I’m in a bit of a slump atm. I had Tim opening the door in my story. Jay not expecting it. But for sketching purposes, them together cuddled up could be cute! Ooh that’s where my story could go since I was going to have Tim injured his leg 🙌

Second, thank you for saying this in your intro; about people not being allowed to reblog your art and then raging against people tagging it as ships. I've been striving to make my art more dynamic these days - so I honestly REALLY REALLY appreciate your words & feedback. :) And ✨WELCOME TO THE FANDOM! ✨ But yeah, no problem with that part in my intro. I honestly ran into that issue a few times where people were reblogging my art and putting threats in the tags toward shippers reblogging my art from THEM. Then it happened enough times, I felt the need to say something about it in my intro. Also, idk if this will help you at all but when I first came into the fandom - I was given the advice to check out blogs that regularly interact with Jaytim content (since I was looking for more jaytim friendly people) - and follow/interact with those (including writers, artists and regular rebloggers)- and from there you kinda find all the like-minded people, find adjacent ships, and keep your space relatively hate free. I honestly, found the reblogger side of the jaytim fandom pretty helpful since I got introduced to artists/writers/and community members in a bit of a softer way than having to sift through the fandom blindly in the general tags, hoping to find people that weren't mean. ahh hello!! it's been so long since i've been active on tumblr, but im so glad to see that your still drawing jaytim..(the cuties..!) i vividly remember you doing some of my silly requests a few years back (and i still have them saved.. they r so precious 2 me.. i think there were 4 total tbh😭 stray jay x robin tim, hemlock jay x stray tim, i think lil kids fox and raccoon jaytim..? and then tim in some pink lingerie..) n ur art is still so pretty i adore it so much..!

Honestly, Im guilty of always going back to redraw things but whenever i pass by those I'm always thinking "mm nah nah, those are good how they are." 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ They're some of my favorites. But yes, I am absolutely still into and drawing Jaytim. I have admittedly taken a bit of a detour with my current Lies of P brainrot on a separate sideblog but I can never forget or abandon Jaytim cause they mean a lot to me! Do you have any headcanons of Jay and Tim? Together or separetedly, doesn't matter

Oh boy, honestly whenever anyone asks me this question I ALWAYS without fail: blank. Im positive I have plenty. Like Jason being the romantic in the relationship. But anytime I answer this question I always forget 90% of them. I also am guilty of not fully committing to my own HCs. Like I think of one and then ignore it in my art HAHA but off the top of my head, I do like to think of both of them as being differing degrees of Demisexual & Demiromantic. Like I see Jason strongly in both. He feels absolutely nothing for anyone until he feels that emotional attachment. But he's also longing and starving for That Romance from his Novels(TM). So, when he starts falling he falls HARD. While in contrast, Tim is very demisexual and the type to compartmentalize his emotions for later. Or just someone very uncomfortable with affection. The kind of person to squirm from a hug or crack a joke to make it less intimate. But he's low key starving for it as well. He's more uncomfortable in his longing for that while Jason wants to drown in affection the moment he gets a little taste. Hence my art where he's on his knees with Tim. Also, I do head canon on the side that Jason, yes is a book nerd, but he never actually understood the books he read? He was just so passionate about them and his own nonsensical interpretations to them. For instance, in his early childhood he wouldn't really have anyone to help him understand these grand classics he's reading and would ask around to random people what X or Y means. In turn, they would tell him something random and he would believe it. In example, his interpretation of star crossed, might be so literal that he would think stars formed an X in the sky and that meant not even the stars wanted them together, lol. And even as an adult he would sit people down to explain, in long impassioned rants, this wild interpretation of a book that while it is incorrect, he still gets to the same general area? He's definitely on the right track. and there is still a huge childlike wonder and essence to his observations. He's deeply creative.
