I'm super excited for the new art by one of my very favorite Good Omens fanartists @orth82 - who was kind enough to make it for me, and I can't wait for people to finally get to see it!

The science nerd 🤓 in me is very very happy because this is the rest of the

💜🌍EARTH SCIENCE CHAPTER!!! 🌎💜

✍️ And you know what? I am extremely insecure and self-deprecating most of the time, and will continue to be, especially about how slooooow I am with writing, but...

I'm actually pretty 💓 in love 💓 with this chapter! Like....a lot. Which is partially why it took forever to write it to my satisfaction.

But it'll have ART, some of my favorite science, some of my favorite writing I've done including imagery that I think is rather cool.

And maybe best of all (imo)

It's basically my love letter to Crowley. 💝

Can't wait! (And hopefully others besides me will enjoy it as well! 😂)

Day 3: "Laudanum" – Good Omens (Season 2, AU)

What if... Crowley wasn't called back to Hell after Edinburgh? Aziraphale would have to do some baby demon-sitting. As we say in French, « Sainte Patience, au secours. »

Personal challenge: a simple sketch each day

Goal: forcing me to keep things simple - inking, shading, just a few sashes of colour

Improvement pursued: to get the movement, the emotion, finding how to add depth, learning how to leave things barely finished

Max time allowed: 2 hours 2h30 🫣 instead of 8-20 on my previous projects

Today's theme chosen by me:  just a silly AU idea about the Edinburgh minisode. And it’s gone waaaay too far in my head XD

I am pretty sure Aziraphale is doing this voluntarily – because OF COURSE he wants to protect his ineffable “partner in crime”. He might even think it's kinda cute to see Crowley -who has just saved a human from Hell!– so genuine and weirdly happy. BUT after spending a few hours dealing with a five-years-old-like demonic being who can do miracles, I guess even angels can lose a little bit of their biblical patience.

Crowley's Characterization Is Comedic Gold - Finally, David Tennant Nominated

Give the man his well deserved award! He does it all - physical comedy, jump scares, dancing, dark comedy, dry humor - and his delivery is always ON! The variety throughout Season 2 is astounding and the way he plays off of Michael's humor makes this the best double act on TV. When I need a smile and a laugh, I turn to these two. David Tennant, emotional support snake!

Flying Blind

Birthday fic for @searchingforakeythatdoesntexist, who makes amazing art for us lucky ducks at @goodomensafterdark, and sometimes even for my writing.

Summary: After saving Elspeth, Crowley doesn’t get pulled down to hell, and instead Aziraphale has to take care of a laudanum-inebriated demon. Later, Crowley discovers exactly how fun it is to get his wings groomed.

Crowley freed himself from Aziraphale’s grasp and skipped down the road, nearly crashing into a woman.

“M’lady.” He tipped his hat in an exaggerated low bow of apology, nearly falling over in the process.

“Crowley!” Aziraphale exclaimed, shooting an apologetic smile at the woman who was clutching her handbag and scurrying away. “Get a hold of yourself.”

You should get a hold of me, Crowley thought.

“I beg your pardon?” said Aziraphale.

Whoops. He’d said that out loud.

“So stuffy, angel. Stuffier than a pin cushion.” He opened his arms and twirled around. “Where to next?”

“I rather think you should get to bed,” Aziraphale said.

You should take me to bed, Crowley thought.

“Excuse me?!”

Whoops. He’d said that one out loud too.
