Although you can’t see it because it’s an image, there was some interesting animation on the loading and app launch screen. I usually get sort of irritated when an apps launch screen as an animation that is longer than 1 second, but I think it would be interesting for a children’s app. It is likely to capture their attention and get them excited for what is happening next. I also think it would be good to have some sort of animation for the loading screen because children’s attention span is short and if a screen is taking a bit too long to load and the loading screen is static and boring, the child may quickly lose interest.

I have a doubt concerning the release of my application: this is regarding the App Icon and the Launch Images

I’m actually stucked and I need someone that has already uploaded an application to the App Store (this is my first time!) because I’ve heard that if you don’t provide what they want.. the application will not be published… thank you in advance

Disable LaunchScreen (XCode 6)

Click on you project, in the Info tab you have the line "Launch screen interface file base name"

You can just remove that line.

iOS8 Launch Screen

In previous ios versions you would create a launch asset catalog containing the different image resolution that would be used on depending on the version. With the introduction of iOS8 there is now a new way.

Interface Builder

First create a new file from under "User Interface" and select the option called "Launch Screen"

Using autolayout design the first view of you app so it scales to suit all resolutions that your app supports.

Using the new Launch Screen

Under the app setting select the newly created Launch Screen from the app options.
