y’all I looove the yellow jacket. I bought it at Goodwill and I was actually drowning in fabric the first time I tried it on, but I love it now that it’s finished. (it was such a pain in the butt to alter though no lie)

i hate how corsets and crop tops never fit me BECAUSE I HAVE NO CHEST

my jubilee stuff came in the mail today. the crop top is the perfect color, but i have to wear a super padded bra and a black tank top underneath and now i need to buy a bra clip tomorrow to hide the straps from sticking out.

i dug out a studded belt from my emo days that i knew would be perfect for jubilee, but i’d never even worn it once. and it was hilarious because it fit me not at all. it was so beyond fitting me, it was ridiculous. i used a lot of needles just now to gauge holes into the right places, and now the belt pretty much wraps around me twice. whatever. i’ll take it.

the earrings are perfect. the glasses are perfect. i just need to find a yellow coat now at Goodwill or something. i ordered it online, but it’s arriving too late for Halloween.

and i’m using fishnet arm warmers instead of just normal black biker ones, because biker arm warmers have never fit me and plus i couldn’t even find any online atm. i have these fishnet ones onhand and they go with jubilee’s aesthetic and i think this’ll work.

i just need a yellow jacket and bra clips.

So my red cloak came in today, and my pink tights. I was unhappy with the cheap-looking ties on the cloak that go around your neck, so I just spent my evening cutting off the ties and sewing on snaps. I'm much more satisfied with this result.

The other thing is the pink tights. The color isn't the same as the picture at all--which is to be expected with colorful products on the Internet, I know. I even checked the coloring on four different computers, but the tights that came in are definitely more fuchsia than anything. It's a shame because the color I ordered was even called "gypsy rose".

Anyway, I guess I'm just gonna have to go shopping on my free day. No classes this Thursday! The college I technically attend doesn't have a Fall Break, but I'm in a theatre alliance that straddles classes between two schools--and the other school does have a Fall Break.
