Time for some Aftons. These are all from before Secret of the Mimic came out. I drew these over a year ago. So none of my stuff takes Edwin Murray, David, or Fiona into account as of now. Maybe one day I'll think about how to incorporate them into my headcanons. But for right now, it's all Aftons and Emilys.
I based my design of William Afton on the graphic novels and movie's depictions. I wanted to go for a tired and unkempt appearance. He's overworking himself, but you can't feel bad for him cuz he's working on some...unethical things.
Anyway, so there are a couple phases to his design. There's the younger one, from the early days of the Missing Children Incident and such. He's clean-shaven at that point. Then an older one where he disguises who he is.
As it becomes necessary for him to change his identity, he grows out his facial hair and starts going by Dave Miller. It can be amazing how different a mustache can make a character look.
Above is Elizabeth and a young Michael Afton. They are half siblings. William had gotten remarried after Mike's mom, Laura, died. He quickly remarried to Belinda, who is Henry's sister.

I wanted to make William and Mike look pretty similar, so they could be mistaken for the other, but still be able to tell them apart.
