damn. Read your fic and its very sad to think about how caroline felt pressured to change herself to be more feminine only for william to instill the idea those interests are frivolous into michael :(

He doesn't have a good relationship with his own masculinity because of William, and Caroline never wanted to be a mother, which facilitated her disconnection from her children and their susceptibility to his manipulation. William felt the need to have a poster family, even if it involved dirty work.

Caroline was unfortunate to meet him, and she entered into a hasty marriage so that she could escape her own family.

Springlock scar pattern ideas and AU/headcanon stuff

Henry was the first victim of springlock failure. He had the right forearm section of Fredbear's suit go off while he was onstage, and was able to make a relatively graceful exit before calling an ambulance. For some reason, it didn't occur to him that it would be super painful.

Spring Bonnie was already built and implemented in Fredbear's by the time of Henry's accident, yet he did not undergo any form of remodel afterwards for some reason. ??? Fredbear was still used as a suit if needed, even by Henry despite his objections.

Despite having a front-row seat to that entire affair, it did not put a damper on William's slowly-growing obsession with wearing the Spring Bonnie suit. He kept it on after performances. And then for multiple hours after Fredbear's closed. It makes Henry start to wonder is SB is truly suffering from technical difficulties, or if Will just wants to wear the suit again.

William's accident occurs long after the restaurant had closed for the day, entirely due to part fatigue and the moisture from wearing SB for plenty of hours longer than he needed to. One set of springlocks goes off, and then another and another and he's scrambling to tear off any parts of the suit that he can while Henry tries to keep the torso from failing but it doesn't quite work and--
