#lava update

Sorry for the silence lately! I'm in the process of changing over from selling products on Redbubble to Threadless. My shop isn't live yet but I promise I'll update when it is! It seems like they've got a much fairer setup for artists than the other site did, but I'm going to be cautious.

The other reason I've posted so little..

Right now the world is full of horrible evil garbage things and it seems like it presses in closer. Please remember this dear hearts: give yourself permission to find joy where and when you can. Take moments of peace where you find them. Reach out in your community and hold fast. I believe, I choose to believe, with all my heart that people can unite in love to become stronger than they could ever imagine.

We're okay here, but I know many aren't. There's a lot of things about media intake I've had to manage a bit for the sake of my own mental health. So if I'm quiet on a lot of social media right now, that's why

Earthquake: 5.4 some 18km outside of Leilani!

That is near the ocean, this is GOOD news -- if it breaks through this takes pressure off Leilani, hopefully stopping the spew headed down my street!

Lava Update

There are reports of rumbles but the lava seems to be calming down. The civil defense is discussing ways to let people back in, depending on the conditions, maybe tomorrow. The last count is still at 8 fissures which are merging. 5 homes destroyed so far. The lava has reached our street, but it’s not in the same section as we are so far as we know, based on the footage being uploaded by a few people still in Leilani. There is an immense outpouring of aloha and support from all corners... ❤️

College update

Had another adventure a group of us drove to santa cruz and had a beach day. We wanted to have a bonfire and eat around it, but there weren't any pits avaliable so we got our stuft and food and ate on the hood of our friend's car. This was for his birthday and it was a great day. Another interesting and fun day.

College update (adventures)

Tonight my floor mates and I got to paint one of our friends nail's (Brian) and do another friend's make up (Keau) it was so much fun. Nights like this make me so happy I was put onto this floor. Tomorrow however Brian gets to pick my outfit from both his clothes and mine and Keau gets to do my make up because I lost "what are the odds". I'll post pictures tomorrow.
