Thank you!! So much has changed and yet so much stayed the same since 2021 when I made him. I love him in all his shapes but I won't lie. Im glad he figured out how to style his stupid plastic hair

While I love chunky, unrealistic-looking robots with big screws and bolts in their joints, I also was annoyed at how I couldn't explain how such a character could move around without just falling over. I have this habit of wanting something that is ""fully explainable"" in-universe, so I came up with Jack before I properly refined what merch mimics were.

I wanted a big chunky robot-looking guy while also having a Lore Reason for being both lifelike, animate, and one of a kind, and that's how I came up with him. I have a soft spot for big dopey dragons, and "kitchen sink" stories like TMNT where a lot of ideas are just bashed together inelegantly but effectively in them, so that's how I wound up with this stupid toy-man guy. I also just like the thought of an action figure who can just poof to human size and hang out with folk.

As someone who adore animals, does Edge struggle with wanting to foster animals? Or ever took an animal home for a temporary situation?

Oooooo this is such a great question!! I think he’d be reluctant to actually foster any animals, given his current living situation, but by god would he feel the urge. I think it’d be tough for him to practically foster in the current rtc set-up; so many people coming in and out, so it’d be hard to keep any animals contained to one room or space, the constant threat of the machine spitting out something terrible, the fact that he probably doesn’t trust any of the others to help give any animals the round-the-clock care they may need while he’s at work. But!!!! He absolutely stays back super super late (and occasionally overnight) to care for any animals that haven’t been placed with a foster family yet.

I love the idea of him bringing injured wildlife home in a temporary situation; there’s something so charming to me about this big, scary monster from a kill or be killed universe nursing an injured bird or wounded deer back to health lol

oh motherfuck, the machine is acting like the DT Extraction Machine and taking parts of their traits. Took about 3 weeks for Quinn and maybe 4 hours for Electrician to extract. No wonder Sans is freaking out if its taking bits of Quinn's soul however it impacts her and corruption is obvious at least to the machine plus spitting out new warped mirror versions of himself. Quinn has been out of sorts for four months according to Black, but who knows who knows how long she has been off. jfdjkfdsjksd i usually skim over large numbers due to my job but actually forcing myself to read and acknowledge the machine outputs shocked me

How do we feel about the sonic lore that Amy Rose made a wish to be older?

*In archie sonic lore, because afaik she just got redesigned in canon like everyone else

I feel they should've just thrown her into a time-warp off-screen to go on some character developing adventure in another zone or time period so she could just conveniently re-arrive at her canon age after the fact without any of the... weirdness of magical aging-up.

It honestly could've explained some things and make an excuse for a brief filler arc unrelated to anything else that'd expand her character. You could even make the time stones and Little Planet involved in how it happened, to tie it back to her origin in CD.

Honestly everytime you talk about bcb, I end up rereading everything to see if I missed any subtle plot points. Also I wish Mike a very nice kiss from Paulo.

im so glad!! i honestly have a lot of fun rereading the comic and looking for new things :3 i feel like comics in general are a good medium for that... i feel like there’s always some detail i missed or forgot about on every single reread
