Lemon Lavender Sandwich Cookies-Sweet Dessert Recipe
Lavender Chocolate Chip Cookies-Aromatic & Delicious Treat
Honey lavender ice cream has a light floral flavor and is made even better with crunchy honeycomb toffee bits. This sweet treat is great for any event because it has a unique mix of honey and lavender that makes you feel good.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup honey. 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds. Pinch of salt. 4 large egg yolks. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup honeycomb toffee, chopped for topping.
Instructions: Mix heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, honey, dried lavender buds, and salt in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir the mixture every so often until it starts to simmer. Take it off the heat and let it sit for 20 minutes. Whisk egg yolks together in a different bowl. Pour the warm cream mixture into the egg yolks slowly while whisking all the time to temper the eggs. Put the mixture back into the saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring all the time, for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon. Put the mix through a fine-mesh sieve and into a clean bowl. Add vanilla extract and stir. Put the dish in the fridge with the lid on for at least 4 hours or overnight until it is completely cold. Follow the directions that came with the ice cream maker to churn the chilled mixture. Cut up some honeycomb toffee and add it to the ice cream in the last few minutes of running. Place the churned ice cream in a container that can go in the freezer. Cover it and freeze it until it's firm, which should take about 4 hours or overnight. Add more chopped honeycomb toffee on top of the honey lavender ice cream that you serve.
