awwww teddy you're so cute.  <3  okay, but only because it's you.

1. i am very good at math

2. i am good to my friends and family.  i love loving people and making them happy.

3. i work hard, both at my job and around the house.  even when i can't do much, i always give whatever i'm workng on 100% of the spoons/energy i have (even if it's not much).

4. i look great in a huge variety of colors.  like i have mixed feelings about being light-skinned but damn my skin is a nice shade and i like that i can wear a lot of pretty things!

5. also about my body i dye my hair a lot and i like that i can pull off a variety of hair colors too.  i like how dyeing my hair always works when i feel bad about myself to make me feel like i've made a big change and i can feel cuter and like i've solved the problem a little bit.

The public view is a bit extreme but it's actually a pretty complicated issue and even my favorite phrase for this, "Trust science, not scientists" (Dickson Despommier may have coined this?) to take in account egos, biases, and limited data and to remind that science is a process...and this is totally an essay topic on its own!
