Lavvu among the Finnish forest
Flashback to Finland 🇫🇮: this is an example of a lavvu, the temporary dwelling of the Sámi people. Lavvus have been used for at least a thousand years, and are still used today. They’re similar to a tipi but usually lower to the ground. It’s been incredible learning about the significance and tradition of the lavvu, and connecting with my family’s history🌲. #forestsámi #saamelainen #saamisaami #saami #lavvu #finland #suomi #suomalainen #sisu #napapiiri #arcticcircle #rovaniemi (at Polar Artic Circle) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj3JMGdtbTX/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

An overnight camping trip north of Kiruna in northern Sweden. Kiruna is located about 145km north of the arctic circle, and I was about 50km north of that. Kiruna is the northernmost town in Sweden, situated in the province of Lapland.
Take care and stay healthy!😁👍
