#CLOCHANAM: an independent, private, selective marvel-based OC blog (but the marvel elements are 25%, the rest is just me and my endless notions).
THIS IS NOT A PERSONIFICATION BLOG. AISLING IS THE HOSTESS OF THE SOUL STONE. SHE IS NOT HERSELF THE SOUL STONE.
hello! i'm blue, i live in ireland, and this is my billionth remake of this blog! this remake was done in june 2025, so if we were mutuals before june and u think i soft-blocked you, know that i didn't! that having been said, i'm returning to university this august to pursue a teaching degree, and so i'm not sure how my activity levels will look over the next year. i just want to communicate that before we become mutuals! the rules and bio are both linked above in the first word of this post! happy reading, and i look forward to writing with you!

How about we head back to my place?
That outfit looks great on you, I bet it would look even better on my floor.
So, is this a date?
What would you do if I kissed you?
Can I hold your hand?
Care to dance?
We can share the bed.
Are you always so oblivious?
Just one date, that's all I'm asking.
Just give me a chance.
I love you.
My friends bet me that I couldn't get your number. Want to help me win?
It's so distracting to be around you.
You can admit you find me charming, you know?
I can think of a few ways we could pass the time, if you're bored.
You're completely out of my league, aren't you?
You know a lot of people think we're a couple.
You don't have to pretend you're not staring you know, you can look openly.
Come on, I know you like me.
Is it hot in here, or is it just you?
Do you have any idea how beautiful you are?
Just say the word and I'm yours.
You know, you're really cute when you smile like that.
Can I buy you dinner?
You can get closer if you'd like.
Do you have plans later?
I'd love to get to know you better.
I'm trying really hard to impress you here.
I was hoping I'd run into you today.
I think we'd make a pretty good team.
Well⦠that sounded smoother in my head.
I've got patience. I can wait.
Can't you see we'd be perfect together?
I think you might be my soulmate.
I've tried moving on, okay? But I can't.
The two of us would make beautiful babies.
Keep looking at me like that and I might get the wrong idea.
I could get used to seeing your face every day.
Kiss me.
If you're this feisty in public, I wonder what you're like behind closed doors?
Let me spoil you.
You look cold, how about I help warm you up?
I'd treat you right if you'd just let me.
Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
You really expect me to believe you've never thought about us together?
I swear all the love songs I've heard were about you.
I'm sorry, what did you say? I was distracted by your beauty.
Do you want to help me test out my new mattress?
You have no idea the kind of thoughts Iβve been having about you lately.
ahem. ur muse gets kidnapped by the company, without the leader (xavier, aisling's half-brother) knowing abt it. the company brings ur muse to his villa, bound and gagged, and his lawyer greets them with a smile, which vanishes as he pales at the sight of ur muse. "what the fuck have you done?" he unties ur muse, he's trying and failing to call aisling, this guy has a MIGRAINE, he's just chugging scotches one after the other and leaving voicemails, he keeps giving ur muse money and food and fancy luxuries just so they don't give the experience a scathing review. he's flung between "let's be logical, lynch, let's be calm and rational adults about this, okay? misunderstandings happen, no harm no foul" and outright BEGGING her to be merciful.
like just this reminder that she really is someone to be feared, that all these attacks on the diner are either bc of fiachra or bc of an impulsive nepo hire that wanted to be the one to take her down, that there's a very good reason for why the company didn't just have her killed, but the new hires won't understand bc they haven't seen her in action, and never will, until it's too late.
but listen. teach aisling how to kick some ass. yk? teach her how to beat the shit out of sb. if things get spicy during a sparring session, that's okay x
'i would never have a podcast. are you kiddin' me? do i look like a cis alpha male to you? podcasts are for white dudes who don't know how to shut th'fuck up,'
" sure. but isn't it kind of like a podcast, except there's video? i mean, if i just look away from the screen and wash the dishes, it's pretty much a podcast by that point. "
u should send in "lights, cameras, action!" so i can tell you how ur muse would be introduced in their debut scene in aisling's tv show/movie series (i.e. the build-up, the hints, the music, the little easter eggs)
(even if you've already sent it in on the old blog, and even if we haven't interacted yet!)
i did indeed write the drabble of this, and honestly? gimme the threads. idc if she becomes an avenger or not, i just need an avenger to visit the diner and show her the drawing like "did u draw this or--"
actually no, i'm thinking abt it again. i'm thinking abt aisling and the kids making little care backpacks for the heroes, vigilantes, anti-heroes and such like around town and leaving them out. packaged food, bottles of water, first-aid kits, rain ponchos. it becomes a routine, they really get into it, they scatter them around in alleyways and rooftops and make sure to recheck the next evening to replenish as needed.
so i'm updating my rules, and i wanna put the main changes here so we're on the same page:
first, if you write a character from hp or anything jk/r relevant, hard block me. i forgot i linked the slides, i updated the wrong doc ages ago, but i want to clarify: do not follow me if you are continuing to write a character from that world. you can't pretend that there's some kind of removal here. that woman has destroyed countless lives and is actively contributing to destroying many more. if you figure this out later down the line, we can be mutuals then, but you can't say "anti-jk.r" and still write a character connected to her.
secondly: guilt-tripping is something i'll be blocking people for moving forward. i think there's a lot of grey area around this, but we're all 18-21+ here. we're all adults. we have jobs, families, lives, obligations. activity will fluctuate. making people feel like hell over that isn't a solution. moving forward, i'll just block on sight.
u should send in "lights, cameras, action!" so i can tell you how ur muse would be introduced in their debut scene in aisling's tv show/movie series (i.e. the build-up, the hints, the music, the little easter eggs)

every so often, in a rare moment of exhaustion and hunger and stress, i wonder if the "lights cameras action" thing is bugging ye, or if people don't like it, and then i'll post one and people get really happy abt it and just !!! i know it's not much and it rarely makes sense, but these episodes making you guys so happy makes ME so happy, and i'm so glad that ye like them and that they don't bother you!!
@unhirsch asked: LIGHTS, CAMERAS, ACTION! ( for eames! ( abt a million years ago i'm so sorry-- ))
u should send inΒ "lights, cameras, action!"Β so i can tell you how ur muse would be introduced in their debut scene in aisling's tv show/movie series (i.e. the build-up, the hints, the music, the little easter eggs) (even if you've already sent it in on the old blog, and even if we haven't interacted yet!) ( ALWAYS ACCEPTING! )
S1 E17: BRΓAGADΓIR. ( TRANSLATION: FORGER )
this episode is brought to us by a social media app that has three different modes, romantic, platonic and professional, bc lbr, aisling and eames have about a thousand modes of their relationship, bc they're icons. now, it's important to recognize that the portal hasn't come into this yet, and eames is such a key part of aisling's life and the fabric of the diner community, so we get to play around with that a little. uncle eames is referenced a lot, he's seen in many photos around the house, we see aisling receiving phone calls, texts and missed calls from eames and arthur, and that she always sets aside an extra cheeseburger on a wednesday night. this is clearly a dynamic that's been long-established and developed naturally since a young age, one that's woven into the fabric of the family that's formed at the diner.
so as we approach eames' episode, we get an increased amount of breadcrumbs. more photos, more name drops, until we reach this moment where aisling, at the end of the preceding episode, is faced with needing to go undercover at an upcoming event to figure out what the company wants. however, identity cards will be a problem, and she's cornered with needing answers but also needing to limit the risk of being spotted. she's seen sitting at the island, phone in front of her, struggling to make a choice. eames' name is highlighted on the screen, a charming photo with him winking as the profile picture.
so friday rolls around again. viewers are glued to the screen with their takeout and wine. the episode airs.
the opening scene is of aisling sitting in a plush lounge with a blond man and an older man sitting in front of them. aisling and the blond laugh flirtatiously, much to the glee of their older companion. after a moment, he excuses himself to replenish their drinks, and aisling leans back in her seat, waiting until he's at the bar before speaking. " he's lapping it up. hypocrite. "
the camera pans back to reveal a slender mirror behind her, revealing her companion to actually be eames, who takes a long sip from his glass. " yes. surprisingly receptive, for a man who's so politically aggressive when it comes to same-sex relations. what do you reckon? five minutes and off for a nightcap? " the pair exchange a look; a moment passes, and then they grin. this job isn't always fun. their duties are never light. but they find it easier and more tolerable when they work together. a high-five is exchanged, and they rise to their feet.
scene cuts to aisling sitting on the balcony, a basket of fries and a pair of perfect strawberry milkshakes resting on the sidetable. she's turning her phone over in her hand slowly, when we hear the sliding of the doors behind her. one thing is very important here, that many viewers will be delighted to make gifsets out of to illustrate the parallel; aisling doesn't take kindly to being snuck up on. she always flinches if someone approaches her from behind and interacts with her that way. except, when eames approaches, a manila file on hand, he stoops down to kiss her cheek, and she doesn't bat an eyelid. " sorry i'm late, darling. "
" red tape is a tedious thing, love. is that for me? " aisling gestures to the file, which eames gives to her easily and takes his seat, plucking a milkshake from the table and taking a thoughtful sip. " my hero. "
" you know, the tickets encourage plus ones... i happen to be a rather big fan of westchester. "
" are you, now? " the camera continues to move back and forth between them; the golden light of the kitchen through the window behind them lends a warm, nostalgic energy to the scene as aisling shakes her head fondly. " no. stay home with arthur. we all made promises that night, remember? my own failures don't need to be shared. "
eames rubs his jaw slowly, the light glinting against his wedding ring as he chuckles ruefully. " well, darling... if you remember, my promise just involved marrying arthur... so i suppose you could say i kept my end of the agreement. "
the camera lingers and zooms in on his wedding ring. suddenly, the scene shifts; back five years previously, aisling and eames in the aftermath of their earlier mission. they sit together in the sandy shores of a beach, eating churros as the sun sets. " what do you reckon? one last job, then we call it even? "
" i think we balanced the scales a long time ago, don't you? "
" i suppose. but... come on, ais. there's got to be more. eh? what sort of life could we live now, with all these savings? arthur and i have our eye on a lovely little spot... you could buy a proper place. out in the countryside... a big farm... you'd love that, wouldn't you? "
" i'd be happy to stay where i am. manhattan's not so bad... i'll tell you, though. i wouldn't look backwards anymore. these jobs... everything that came before... i'd cut all ties to them, and i'd look ahead, and i'd enjoy my life. " aisling casts a glance at eames, who stares resolutely out at the sunset, before wearily dropping his head. " and you'll get married. and i'll be your maid of honour. and i can help make mini milkshake shot glasses for the wedding aperitif-- "
" i haven't even asked him yet-- "
" eames, i swear to GOD-- "
scene cuts back to the diner balcony, heralded by the sound of eames' hand slapping off his thigh. aisling glances at him, shaking her head slightly. " it's my mess. i can handle it. "
" fine. then... how about this? i'll go on my own. i'll be there, purely as a guest. and... and if you need help, then... i'm only a shout away. " he reaches out, palm up, toward aisling. fifteen year old aisling reaches back, squeezes his hand. the camera returns to eames, now fifteen as well, and the pair smile at one another, friends to the end.
after a long pause, aisling relents. exhales. then nods. before eames can celebrate the minor success of persuading her, aisling raises a finger, still holding his hand.
" you don't go with anyone. not alone. you don't take risks. this isn't a job we've ever faced before. nor one we'll ever face again. it's this. we either get killed, get caught, or get discovered. whatever way it works out... this doesn't happen ever again. so let's just do everything we can to survive this one. "
a flash forward, the final scene. aisling is seen serving drinks behind a sleek, elegant marble bar, wearing a golden mask. across the way, eames is seen chuckling at a witty joke, taking a mouthful from a martini, glancing back at aisling. we see a series of quick shots of the core members of the new generation of the company. then, back to a wide angle of the lounge, showing aisling at one end of the screen, eames at the other, sharing a barely perceptible nod.
then the credits roll. and it's not the last we see of eames in the series!
