@lawlu-week day 1: plans made and ruined
Law wasn't someone who would feel pity for anyone, he could careless if some random person was hurting or crying he would usually ignore them and walk away from the problem.
His friends would call him cold since he tends to be indifferent about their personal problems and just let them whine and complain about whatever it was that trouble them offering little to no advice and left them be.
But this wasn't just some random person. This wasn't someone he could easily ignore, his heart wouldn't let him.
Monkey D. Luffy was sitting all alone at a restaurant waiting for someone. He remembers how Nami finally convinced him to go on a date with someone she knew and would be good for him.
It turns out Nami was wrong since it's been at least thirty minutes since his date was supposed to arrive and no word from them.
When Luffy told him about his blind date he begged Law to go with him and to wait for him in the parking lot.
When it came to Luffy, Law could never say no. It was no secret that Luffy held a special place in Laws heart and the poor boy didn't even realized it.
Or maybe he did and maybe that's why he was always asking Law to do things that he would never do for anyone else.
Like sitting in his car watching his beloved Straw hat waiting for someone who didn't even bother to call him and let him know they wouldn't be able to come to the restaurant.
Seeing his usual cheerful face becoming more and more disappointed at the mere thought of being stood up.
Luffy has never been on a date before and most of the girls wanted him to go on a nice date and enjoy his new freedom since Ace and Sabo left for a trip that'll last a month and asked Law if he could stay with him.
Law of course didn't mind since he cared deeply for the youngest brother.
When Nami, Robin, and Vivi found out that the older brothers left they took advantage of the situation and set Luffy on a date.
Luffy of course agreed because one, he loved his friends and always wanted them to be happy and two he never been on a date so he definitely wanted to experience what I was like.
Now here he was sitting at a restaurant where everyone including the waiters were giving him looks of pity.
Sanji was looking annoyed and was getting ready to call Nami and ask him where the fucker was.
Unable to take it anymore Law got out of his car and headed towards the restaurant.
Luffy felt a little annoyed and a little disappointed that his date didn't show up. Both Nami and Vivi agreed that this guy would be perfect for Luffy and would help him get over his crush on Law.
He's had the biggest crush on Law but so far the older man hasn't shown any interest in him.
While Zoro and hell even Ace disagree with him since Law tend to do things for Luffy that he'd never do for other people Luffy just took it as Law being good friends with Sabo since he and Sabo were childhood friends.
But Luffy never saw it like that he just assume Law was being kind to him.
He was grateful that he decided to have the date at Sanji's restaurant and now here he was waiting for some asshole that didn't bother to text him or anything.
He turned to look at Sanji and could see his friend was about to go over to him to comfort him.
Out of the blue he felt a pair of lips pressing themselves on his cheek.
He turned and saw Law looking at him with a gentle smile.
"hello beloved, I'm sorry for being late, work went on longer than I expected."
Luffy blushed a lovely shade of red before Law cupped his cheek and ran his thumb along the scar on the bottom of his eye.
"Even after this long I can still make you blush,"
"Order whatever you want and I'll pay for it, my way of saying sorry for being late,"
Luffy smiled as he understood the double meaning behind those words.
Sanji stared at the two for a good minute before taking a quick pic and texting his friends letting them know that Luffys date has arrived.
Luffy smiled as he and Law ate peacefully Law of course held onto his hand, not once did he let it go.
