Two Ways | The Leather Jacket

Being based in quaint Laguna Beach, California while also having roots in the fast paced city of New York, gorjana has the unique opportunity to balance the two lifestyles. For our Fall campaign, we harmonized the two opposites and created a collection for the put-together west side dame, the edgy, hip east side girl and every look in-between.

To show the versatility of the Fall Collections, we took a key wardrobe piece and styled it two ways to encompass each gorjana girl’s unique style from coast to coast.

Summer Collection Styled By...Stephanie Sterjovski

Summer is here so we teamed up with Stephanie Sterjovski of stephaniesterjovski.com and SS Print Shop to style our Summer Collection. We love Stephanie’s minimalist look which lets the jewelry really speak for itself. Get to know more about Stephanie and see how she styled the Summer Collection below!

1. What made you want to start blogging?

While in University, I was left feeling very un-inspired. I wanted a space where I could share what fired me up, my personal style, creativity, designs, etc. Through following many other blogs at the time, and my love for editorials, I decided to start a blog. At the time my content mostly focused on my photography work (which I was pursing freelance) and since, it has grown into a self titled lifestyle brand. I feel so grateful for this platform, as it has opened the door for so many awesome opportunities, travels, and relationships I truly value.

2. What is your favorite piece from the collection and why?

My favorite piece from the collection has to be the Nina Ring to Wrist Bracelet because its an all-in-one statement, thats still very delicate. Its the perfect accessory for summer, on sun-kissed skin.

3. Which Law of Layering do you utilize the most?

I would say I’m a mix of Law No. 2 (Dare to Mix) and Law No. 4 (Stack Up or Stack Out). I love mixing metals and different styles to create a look that is uniquely my own.

4. What are your favorite trends for the season?

I have found myself really into reductionism. Finding the maximal in the minimal pieces, whether it it with interiors, fashion, or accessories. I am really into marble right now as well! 

5. When you’re shopping for jewelry, what types of pieces do you typically gravitate towards?

I usually gravitate towards delicate, dainty jewels that I can layer and wear everyday. I am more times than not picking out a gold pieces, but lately I do love adding some silver and white gold into the mix.

6. Tell us a little bit about yourself! 

I am a 24-year old stationary designer (SS Print Shop) and lifestyle blogger (stephaniesterjovski.com) based out of Toronto, Canada. I started both my lifestyle brand/blog and online shop in the summer of 2012 and the rest is as they say, history! XO
