Scandinavian Laxsoppa - Salmon Soup

Hello Everyone :) . Today I will be sharing with you a local favourite dish "Laxsoppa" Salmon Soup. This delicious and wholesome salmon dish is perfect for the chilly and rainy autumn weather. Check out Laxsoppa recipe on my youtube channel

Laxsoppa/Salmon Soup:

1 whole onion chopped 25 gm butter A cup of Chopped leeks, parsnips & carrots 2 fish stocks A litre of water 4 potatoes cut into cubes 2 dl cream (1 cup of cream) A package of local cream cheese Koskenlaskija (Cream cheese 250g) You can substitute with Philadelphia cheese. 400 gm Salmon cut into cubes 1/2 teaspoon turmeric (optional) 1 teaspoon of Dill Salt & Pepper
