I tried drawing my own interpretation of the Ropen! I may have gone a bit overboard with the luminescence, but ehh I think it's cool!

This incarnation is the ghost of Azdarchid that died in the KT asteroid impact 66 million years ago. Haunting the night skies of New Guinea, it feasts upon the dead, undead, and spineless libelous missionaries as its main source of food.

New Guinea being part of Southeast Asia is a bit contentious, but it's close enough that I'd like the Ropen to feature in some of my stories set in that area too!

The final TF2 comic is out and I am losing it- go read it, it's SO good!!

Crazy how Flo's design was originally partly inspired by Scout's (The light red shirt, her 2013 gloves used to be fingerless like his arm wrappings, etc) and they just revealed that she and Miss Pauling have the same first name!

I feel like a major part of my teenage years just got closure after such a long time, and I'm thinking about maybe posting my thoughts on the whole story sometime, too!

After being inspired by Creature Commandos (Supernatural band of misfits) and Moana 2 (Tropical island period piece fantasy) I wanted to try my hand at crafting together a new group of OCs!

Set in 1330s Southeast Asia, mythical Malay figure Badang teams up with an assortment of paranormal weirdos to protect the Straits of Malacca from all kinds of threats!

The goal with a lot of my stuff is to make sure that it's still entertaining for non-Southeast Asians, and deals immense psychic damage to any Southeast Asians who get the idiotic references I love making. I don't want my representation to ever feel like a condescending tutorial or an exclusionary in-crowd thing!

Happy Year of the Snake!!

It may not be my specific year, but I've loved snakes ever since I was a toddler, so much so that I have one as my icon!
