The beam of the Warp Pad shone down on it for a few moments, briefly illuminating the area around it - the Galaxy Warp.
When the beam disappeared two things was upon the pad. The first was Peridot, standing tall and with four of her fingers already up in one of her screens. She seemed rather satisfied with herself, a feeling she had earned after all her hard work.
The second object was a large, pill-shaped capsule. Through the surface, barely visible, was the form of Steven Universe.
“This is Peridot. All things have gone according to plan. The data collected suggests that the Cluster is to emerge within two to four days-” she cast a glance towards unusually large, dark clouds at the horizon “-though atmospheric disturbances have already begun to spread. I estimate that the planet will already be close to uninhabitable even before the Cluster emerges”
With the sound of her limb-enhancers hitting the floor she stepped off the pad, pausing only to raise her unoccupied arm to extend a tractor-beam around the pill-like container and lift it up even as she continued to speak.
“The stasis-pod from the old ship appears to be working, despite it’s age and design. And-”
She began to walk over towards the center Warp Pad, paying more attention to her screen than she did her surroundings.
”-‘The Steven’ is contained within while the Crystal Clods are occupied or dead. I hope that this will make up for the Jasper’s failure and the subsequent loss of the ship” She shook her head slightly “Peridot, signing out”
