I should still be studying for a quiz right now but my brain just decided to be a bitch and say "Just wing the quiz. You have plus 3 points anyway" ... Uuuhh I still want a perfect score you know >:((
My imagination keeps giving me interesting ideas for fanfics and short stories, but when I ask my brain to write them, all I hear is "Lol, no."
back from vacation which means time to stop stalling on fic stuff and get back to writing and editing
Me: What if we study?
Brain, lazy as always: No, to tired
Me: Alright, then what if we play or watch something, we love doing that, and it's easy
Brain, somehow: TO TIRED
Ok so we've got the hobbies kind of squared away. But I want to start reading more intellectual, philosophical stuff (along side my pulpy, trash nonsense because I love them.) And documentaries. I have the great courses channel on Amazon so plenty of options... I just always end up turning on fun stuff, most of which I've already seen, instead. (It's been suggested that's because I don't have to pay attention and could be a sign of ADHD... pretty sure if I ask my shrink about one more disorder, he's going to fire me though lol.) I'd also like to take some of the masterclass, especially on writing because I've recently decided I want to work on a book again. No I have not done any work on it but I want to. I also want to get back to Duolingo.
Essentially people find it boring when I tell them every detail of a book or go on about a TV show off the air 5 years (hence why I try to spare you guys, you're welcome.) And I'm at the age where people are expected to be educated -- my degree was applied science, so I never took gen eds so giant knowledge gaps , and NO ONE wants to hear about managerial accounting. (I don't blame them, it's boring as shit.)
So I'm looking for ways to motivate myself and actually engage with this stuff. Any suggestions would be very, very welcome.
Me: *needing to do laundry because I’m basicly out of clothes*
My Brain: “You don’t need to do laundry. You could just go buy more clothes.”
You don't want to do the dishes. You don't want to do workout. You really
Do you know why are you so lazy?
