BTI - Attempting a Homey Family Home...
This time, look at me trying to create a homey family house for a single mother of 3 boys, with classic pieces of furniture, a traditionnal layout, a deep love for the colour green and a sense of order, well...except for maybe one or two rooms...

A little on the BTI (Behind The Interior).
I created that somehow, traditional house for a townie family from the Get Together Expansion Pack, The Munchs.
In my savefile, Mila Munch lives in a typycal townhouse in the old town district of Windenburg. Now, if I am being totally honest, I have never played with that household before. So, needless to say that when Mila appeared at a fortunate time in my story, and I decided to play along and ad her into it, I was not expecting three children coming along with her.
But then, I read the family desciption, and found myself excited to go further with them and play out their interesting family dynamics. That is how, Mila Munch and her "bunch" of kids stepped from being a side character to my main storyline, to being promoted to the very selective list of my rotational households.
I obviously had to give them a tiny little makeover first, then starting from there, everything was now crystal clear for me, I had a vision. They needed a big homey, family house, where the phrase "a place for everything and everything in its place" seems to be the motto. But is it though ?
Let's meet the Munch family and their unique spaces...
Mila Munch & her 3 sons (from top to bottom) : Gunther, Wolfgang and Lucas.
Now let me fill you in on their family drama :
The oldest, Gunther, is a young adult, freshly out of college , where he , thankfully, managed to graduate in computer science. The only problem is that Gunther finds himself just fine in his mom's attic, sleeping in, playing video games, and eating cold pizza. A dream of a life, isn't 'it ? Well, yes, if you disregard the fact that Mila is definetly not having it, so much so that every interaction with her eldest inevitably turns into a fight or at least a passive-aggresive conversation. How delightful.
Will Mila succeed in instilling a sense of responsibility in her first born and make him leave the house at last?
Gunther's attic room.
The middle son, Wolfgang, is the archetype of the rebel teenager. He refuses to follow the rules, and really, just does not want anything to do with her. He isolates himself from the rest of the family, spends most of his time in his room or outside with some kids who are just bad news.
Will Mila find her way back at communicating with him?
Wolfgang's dark and gloomy room.
The youngest, Lucas, is Mila's sun and peace. He is such a sweet boy. Who enjoys playing outside, crafting, and is always happy. Lucas is a bubbly little boy, with many interests and a great deal of curiosity.
Will Mila find balance in the joys that her little boy brings to her without putting any added pressure on him ?
Lucas' sweet boy room.
Peace & Love,m.
!!! Spoiler alert : Gunther, may or may not soon have his own BTI...!!!
