Whilst we were on holiday in Dominican Republic a few months ago, we got talking to (and made GREAT friends with) this beautiful Canadian family. I don't even know how it started (hula hooping in the kids Plaza, possibly?!) but before I knew it, we were looking out for each other every single day until they left. : I was also determined to photograph them. They were...just...so beautiful, inside and out, and I loved them for that too, and I wanted to capture that. : "Hey uh, so this might sound weird, but, I really want to photograph you guys because you're awesome. And gorgeous. And hopefully I can give you some beautiful photo memories." No planning, no preparation, no thoughts about "what do I want to get out of this", just roughly 24 hours notice. : Perhaps one of the most random things I've done in a while, asking someone if I can take their photo, whilst we/they're on holiday. Random, and absolutely worth every single moment.
