I was today years old when I realized the creativity and cleverness that The Land Before Time franchise director Don Bluth and writing team did regarding character names.

Specifically, Cera and her dad (whose name was revealed in later movies as Topps (or Toppsy).

Triceratops. Cera. Tops.

I always wondered why Cera was spelled C-E-R-A, when as American growing up, I was used to S-A-R-A (H). Now, I know. Cera. Ceratops.
