greg being disabled in every universe means a lot to me as a very disabled person. It can feel something like a curse, even when you are ok with it, && it becomes a very fundamental part of you. it tends to radicalize you. It hurts && i feel bad that it is inescapable for him, && at the same time seen because it doesn't just go away in different circumstances; you were always disabled && its just gonna Happen. for mental && physical ones! the loss of his arm is a core part of almost any story revolving around him, && i feel it ties back to his source material very well. gregor samsa && by proxy the metamorphosis are like going to a haunted house but instead of scare actors you see one of the few things about yourself you can never ever change
