“So - are you avoiding work like typical Duran fashion or you sulking? These days it kind of..blends?” Stiles stuffed another plaid into his luggage, making sure he had an even ratio of clothes as he zipped it close. Three days left until his New York college adventure, and he felt as if he hadn’t gotten more than ten words from his brother. At least Scott could pull puppy eyes.

                         “Can I borrow your notes? You’ll get them back tomorrow.”

           He’d been too far gone to actually pay attention to class in the last couple of days and with a mid-exam coming up and him needing to maintain at least a decent grade, he needed to study now. “All of them, I mean. Not just from today.”

So here they are, outside of the Stilinski house, and Malia suddenly finds herself not wanting to go inside to face Stiles. Which is really stupid, all things considered, because they can’t just AVOID him. They especially can’t avoid the fact that Duran told him, or that there are hunters everywhere trying to kill them. Malia lets out a breath, pulls out the keys, and opens the door.

“C’mon. May as well get this over with. The sooner we face him, the sooner we can get to him not yelling at us for all of this.” Malia leans over and pecks Scott’s lips before jumping out and shutting the door, heading to the front of the house. Somehow, she thinks climbing in through the window won’t be a good idea, so she just lets herself in the front door.

Claire has been waiting on Duran to wake up for hours. She’s impatient and she wants to share her surprise with him. Clad in her pjs and slippers, she knocks on his door. “Hey, are you up yet?” She’s jittery and wants to just open the door whether he responds or not.
