Though Jeff liked making offensive devices best, ones that provided support in battle were useful too. He didn’t really need to make them anymore, but he liked coming up with new designs for devices in his free time. Right now he had all his scrap parts laid out in front of him and his head resting on a hand, trying to think of something that he hadn’t made before. He needed a challenge right about now. 

There’s a shadow looming over his tools and scrap parts, now that Jeff thinks about it, so he looks up. Hold on, was that Sonic the Hedgehog? As in, Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive??

     — Nicky wasn't usually the one to keep calm during a stressful situation like this, so when the blue hedgehog gave him a reassuring thumbs up, he felt they weren't totally done for (but what came next is what really threw him off.) The young hedgehog made a small noise of surprise as the other hedgehog dashed forward before the trap could crush them both. Nicky shut his eyes, hoping that all the crazy zipping and zooming Sonic was doing could be over. After the movement stopped with a hard landing, the boy slowly opened his eyes, hoping they were safe and not...dead.

They were safe…

     — A moment later, Nicky placed his feet, tidying himself up and readjusting his frames as he faced the other. 

"Thank you…" 

                  Nicky expressed his gratitude meekly. It felt weird to be saved by a guy you've never met until now. The young hedgehog scanned their surroundings, trying any potential ways out. But all he saw were spikes, pits, and a bunch of other death traps. Oh goodie.... He turned his head back to Sonic, apprehension flooding his eyes. "So, where do we go now?"

Sonic Forces out a Compliment.

   To say his younger alternate was an enigma was a bit of an understatement. An oddly peculiar turn of events every time he ran into the shorter blue blur— typically involving some sort of time-warp shenanigans and a world in peril. Even still, it was always fun fight along side him.

   ❝You’re a brave kid, I’ll give ya’ that! Not everyone can say they can get along with themself, so I guess I’m lucky t’ say you’re a fun person t’ be around.❞
