Sam needed this drink. It wasn’t after work, it was actually early in the evening. But Sam came in the bar anyway, he clearly looked upset. His eyes and face were red like he had been crying, and his mascara was even smeared. This day had been terrible, a failed review at class then coming home to an eviction notice on his door.

He just wanted to sit into his normal seat, and see Gabe and drink everything way. The youth looked up at the bar tender, rubbing his eyes and grimacing at the smeared make up on his hand. “God dammit..” His eyes flicked to some of the pieces of his own the wall, seeming like it was all for not now.

     bars were always somewhere the german had found himself  ,  given he’d worked in one back in new york  ,  and with a vacation to los angeles in place  ,  he was unable to resist checking a few out.  he had stumbled across one that seemed nicer than most  ,  and upon further inspection inside  ,  he had gotten the same vibe.  a small  ,  but warm smile had graced his lips as he took his place upon a bar stool right by the counter  ,  glancing up at the man who he assumed was serving.
