doodles of god!Gavin. He would be a god of kitties and insecurities...
bonus sketch layer:
Quick doodle of two weredog cousins. One is a person who turns into a dog sometimes, the other is a dog that turns into a person sometimes lol
Here’s a cool resource for you, guys!
Do you know when you need to paint skulls, vehicles or some object full of crevices and details that change and get obscured by different angles? It can be hard to find good references, sometimes you need to learn how it looks from unusual angles like the underside, but no one take photos of the underside.
Well, the folk at Sketchfab do. It’s a project that has been running for a while, and wow, it has grown since I last checked it! Some incredibly kind museums joined and are sharing 3D scans of their collections, to not speak of the high quality scans of almost anything by regular users. You’ll also find original 3D models there. It’s amazing, a wealth in information at your fingertips, almost as if you had the object in your hands. Enjoy!
Bem, o pessoal do Sketchfab tira.
NOTE: one type of fold will rarely appear on its own - they interact with each other quite a bit! for example, spiral folds might define the outline of a pant leg, while the interior folds might be zig-zag folds.
i’m trying to re-learn how to draw clothing, so i made this little guide to the most common shapes of folds that appear. hope it helps someone else too!

Nickname: Flint
Play-style: Systematically checked every decayed guardian from Ash Swamp to Fort Hateno for parts, always finds a way to pick off / torture monsters with slate runes.
Fave outfit: Ancient armor and diamond circlet (or hood when it’s raining). Fave weapon: Drill shaft (good for poking). Fave meal: Mushroom skewers and roasted fruit. Keep it simple, cuz he’s always moving.
Personality: Curious, a tinkerer, always finding the most difficult / most entertaining way to do something.
Hobbies: Hunting guardians, spending time with his favorite horse Ordonac (named after the quarry he was found at, rescued from bokoblins). Laughing maniacally while flying with magnetized mine carts.
How I break down anatomy and make it mechanical while still looking organic/streamline in shape. These guidelines can be stretched, squished, pulled, and widened however you see fit. They will work for any shape, from big and squishy to thin and spindly.
You can ref from this where needed, I encourage you trace this image in your private/personal studies, just please refrain from posting the image if you trace from this!
For Inktober prompts - mysterious and graceful. Both are what Dusty thinks of their boyfriend Damon, who is the canine equivalent of ‘tall dark and handsome.’
Damon is an oc of @caniformia
For today's prompt - fat. Gengar approves of being my fave pokemon.
For the inktober prompt - Run. My poor Professor Harding in the current Call of Cthulu campaign, getting ready to usher in a writhing apocalypse.
For the Inktober prompt - gigantic. Me being sat on by these gigantic turds. Rufus insists on being in your lap just barely enough to be annoying, and fat little Rocky is content with my foot as a pillow.
For the inktober prompts - Crooked and Screech. I can't remember if he had the Umbra staff at that point, so I just made his old wand fit that 'crooked' prompt.
For Inktober days 5 and 6 - "long" and "sword". Yeah technically this is a knife instead of a sword, but at least it's not a phallic reference! My ocs, Ace and one if his foster children BB, who doesn't really need protecting lol. Ace is also immortal, so that fits the 'long' prompt.
For inktober prompt 7 - shy, have this precious bab Luna, oc of @daedaluscried
