I kinda feel that way true. About the while trust and respect thing. My problem is is that there are literally no one I know who I CAN trust. No one to be actual friends with. Who understand each other, and respect and love them for who they are.

(( There was a time in my life that I believed the same thing. 

That there was no one that I could trust or that would ever love me. 

To be honest, sometimes those thoughts show their ugly heads even now, and the words of terrible people from my past linger for much longer than I’d like them to. 

But eventually you’ll find people who you CAN trust. That will love you for who you are instead of what they WANT you to be. 

And when you do find something like that, life gets so much better.

I’ll be honest, it’s been a very very long time since I’ve been as happy as I am now, and my wonderful friends are the reason for that. 

I believe whole-heartedly that you can find people like that. That you can form friendships like this. Everyone deserves such amazing people in their lives.))

Purple Mountains Majesty: How does someone earn your respect?

(( I can’t really say that there’s a ‘how-to earn Emi’s respect’ type thing, since people have done it in many different ways.

The main way is to just be genuine. Don’t lie to me, even if things are hard or complicated. Being honest is a huge deal to me.

Also being the kind of person who keeps their word. I put a lot of weight into keeping promises, and to be someone I respect or befriend I kind of expect the same thing?
