London Craft Week has officially kicked off today. Jimmy Beaumont of @thebeaumontldn has commissioned a double breasted embroidered velvet smoking jacket with shawl collar and midnight blue fine herringbone braided dress trousers. Velvet cloth is from @scabal and frogging and cuffs embroidered by @hawthorneheaney. The velvet slippers, of course from @georgecleverley. Week One - Workshop

Truth:  There was a rumour my mum was sleeping with her boss...

Exaggerated: There was a rumour that my mum was sleeping with her boss. I’m assuming it started because she was a little ‘loose’ if you know what I mean. My dad left when I was six, and since my dad walked out on us she just never trusted men again. Mum, just used them to buy her new items to add to the collection fancy cars, jewellery clothes.We just moved to a new town because mum made a not so good name for us. So after the last town mum promised she wouldn’t ruin it. I really thought mum would have just kept it in her pants for once but no! It seems she just jumped into bed with the closes man she could hook her hands into. I was furious! Angry! Annoyed! This was not just her fresh start! But it was mine too I had to confront her! I walked up to her with my hands clenched ready to start this argument for the 100th time. “MUM!!” I yelled very bluntly! I stormed up to her, she swung around and looked me in the eyes full of guilt, she knew this voice, and she had heard it before. I WAS PISSED! “How could you mum? There is rumour you’re sleeping with your boss! I don’t want to believe it… but I know it’s true! Isn't it!? She looked at me terrified... “Look, I--am sorry, I know this was our fresh start b--” “No, mum! I can’t believe you!” “Honey, it’s not what you think its --” “It’s what mum?” “IT IS NOT MY BOSS”. She feel to the floor and started sobbing in a puddle of her tears, I took a step back... this was not like mum at all she never cried over these antics... she seemed like she generally felt bad. I went down to wipe her tears and handed her a tissue... “Mum, what’s going on?” in muffles of sobs she spoke “it is not-t my b-b-boss... it’s his WIFE!” she burst into tears... I fell back I was in disbelief she was sleeping with his wife. 28th of July 2017 - 28/07/2017
