LDH Week Day 3 - Fave Generations member: Katayose Ryota

When I first saw him, I thought his smile was really cute. Then I found out about his personality. Let’s just say, he made me curse “Oh you lil piece of shit how dare you. I approve greatly.”

He’s a sarcastic shit with a puppy face, but I like his sharp tongue just fine. Like Gun-chan, he looks like a prince but he isn’t one. And I like how he’s not in the least scared of haunted houses. Anyone who falls asleep watching horror movies gets my stamp of approval.

Ryota plays the piano, and loves playing the piano. He plays well too. I’m sold. Please play more during concerts.

I have a great appreciation for hardworking and intelligent people, and Ryota is no exception. I really like how hard Ryota pushes himself. During VBA4, he was scolded by the voice trainer, and since then he has been working hard to be a better vocalist. His vocal quality has improved so much and I’m really proud of him. Especially after I attended A-Nation to catch Generations’ performance. I wish they’d come here for their World Tour but one can always hope (or send other LDH groups here I don’t mind at all).

He’s grown so much. I can no longer associate him with that cute chihuahua I used to know. His shirtless appearance in Anikoma was a direct attack at my senses. Abs, boy, abs. Is it a rite of passage for all Exile Tribe members to develop abs?

Ryota, get out.

LDH Fan Week -EXILE

It is definitely not just because of the dimples and the million dollar smile lol, but I really love him as a wonderful actor! I mean Wild Heroes, Senso and of course, as Amamiya Masaki

Don’t let me start on this scene, I will blabber all night long about it! He is truly an awesome actor and I love Takahiro the actor so much! Of course, still in his all seriousness, EXILE TAKAHIRO the vocal! It is definitely because of his singing voice! It made me wept 5 secs after he started singing Keep On Singing- one of my fav ExTribe song. And really, his perf in Tow 2014 Gloria with my beloved Naoki-san is one of my all time fav perf!

And did I mention his dimples? lol xD

And lastly, him being himself, Bakahiro and his unconditional love towards his members’ kouhais and senpais <33333 and of course, all his loves for his fans! <333333333333333 I was screaming and yabbai-ing like mad woman when I watched this!!!!!

And who else can rock a freaking pink shoes with freaking damn suits??????? Ha? Who else? That’s it, I rest my case!

LDH week Day 2 - Fave 3JSB member

(By the time most read this it’ll already Tuesday in NZ I guess)

I’m pretty sure everyone knows that my favourite is Ryuji. I don’t really know what to say because I want to say everything all at once...

Ryuji’s a real surprise because when you first see him, he looks like a scary tough guy who might scare the crap out of you if you run into him in a dark alleyway.

But it’s totally not the case! This guy is about as cinnamon bun as cinnamon buns get! In fact every time he smiles I’m pretty sure a cinnamon bun is born fresh out of the oven.

Just for a couple examples of this moe gap: the guy uses pink-packaging fruit candy flavoured lipbalms, carries candy in his bag, leaves a gap in the bathroom door if he has to go at night (esp. after a horror movie), watches baby animal videos on his off days, thought that Kendrick Lamar was “Hysteric Glamour” (fashion brand), thinks leopard print is still in fashion, is literally shyer than a 15(16?)yo school girl, wants to be a bird in his next life... (list goes on)

Moreover, Ryuji is an astonishingly gentle and humble person. We all know that most of the Exile guys really worked themselves to the bone to get to where they are now, and Ryuji’s definitely no exception, going from a construction worker driving around in a 400cc bike to karaoke and into VBA1, and then VBA2, before all that hard work finally paid off. But still, every time he’s complimented he gets embarrassed and tries to deny it -and now he’s finally being shown the love and respect he deserves by the guys (Brian McKnight! Boys II Men!! etc.) he so admires, I am so so proud of him!

Ryuji’s throat problems during mid-late 2016 (is that the right time period? I’ve got a really bad concept of time) was really a big shock for everybody I think, and all through that time I listened to him try his damndest to perform and look like he was ok, but you could tell from his expression and body language that he wasn’t happy. It was also during that time that the rest of 3jsb were kind of spread out doing their own projects while Ryuji had nothing else apart from his radio show. So it was a really hard time to go through for him, I think. For the fans too, but mostly for him. So, I’m so glad that he bounced back with 5x the energy, and now he’s got some exciting mysterious collab projects and solo shows lined up! I can’t wait to hear the results!

Well, I’ll stop here before it becomes an essay... Nyanchu smile to finish of course.

LDH Fan Week

Day Two: Favorite 3JSB member.

The most obvious answer would be Naoto, naturally. However, because I talk about him on a near daily basis and I have a page on my blog dedicated as to how and why I like him (which you can read over here if you like), I decided that my answer this time around shall go to my other love. My other love that is just as wonderful and brilliant, Naoki. 

My heart feels at peace whenever I look at Naoki. Unless he is on stage because, by the time he hits the stage, he goes from zero to one hundred so quickly like his senior Akira that it makes you wonder if he was the same person you were looking at just now. Naoki gives my heart small bursts of joy for whatever he does or says, from having a good old fun time playing in the snow like in the Blue Impact documentary or when he is laughing at yet another antic from Elly or Kenjiro. How well spoken he is whenever he talks, carefully choosing each word he uses so that he can get the message he wants to get across with no misunderstanding or mistakes. How passionate he is the way he gives his all into every single stage whether it be as an EXILE member or a Sandaime member.

Naoki tends to put others before himself which is why I am glad that this year especially, Naoki has been getting the chances to show himself more because Naoki deserves more love and appreciation from fans and non-fans alike. Naoki is a beautiful human being, both inside and out and it is a great pity if people are unable to see that because he is more than just ‘that tall and stoic member of the group’ No, Naoki is a lot more than that and trust me, when you take the time to learn about him and watch him closely, you will find yourself loving him too like how I and so many others do.

LDH Fan Week - Day 2: Favorite 3JSB member.

I really can't choose just one! J Soul Brothers got my biggest feelings in EXILE family... I just can say that my biggest love is for Elly & Imaichi-kun.

About Elliot, Idk why, but I really love him like a brother. I feel that he would be a great brother and this feeling is always growing up, he is my Soul Brother - but sometimes I got the crazy fan feeling too.

Well, Imaichi-kun had a voice that make a big mess on my feelings. I feel love, I feel sadness... His voice is like an angel's voice. I just can't explain what I feel when he's singing Best Friend's Girl or Hanabi, my feelings go up and down crazyly!  

I hope that you guys understand what I'm talking about... He give me that crazy vibe, sometimes I'm happy for listening to his voice... But sometimes I get mad because I can't have him for my own, I can't sing along with him, he's not here with me... That's a childish fan love? Maybe. I can't control, he made a big mess on my heart.

LDH Week | Day 4 - Fave EX the 2ND Member: Kenchi |

Why?:

Charming + Socialble + Ecclectic + Goofy + Easy-Going + Artsy 

So much to say…he’s one of the many people in LDH that makes me weak.

First, he’s intelligent. He majored in Electrical engineering and can speak three different languages. That in itself is a recipe for weakness. A man that is hella smart. All for it!

Two, he’s an amazing dancer. It’s always nice to see him dance because he has such a unique approach to the way he dances. He’s fluid, flexible and very smooth with his dancing. He’s always happy while dancing so I’m always happy to see him do what he loves.

Three, I mean look at that face. He’s living, breathing art. He has the most charming smile and his body is always in tip top shape. Also, he doesn’t even look his age, like someone said before. He looks younger than he actualy is and that’s probably because he takes very good care of himself. I’m thankful for his effort and having the blessing of his looks.

Four, he treats the youngins well. Every interaction I’ve seen between him and his juniors are always sweet and positive. 

Five, he’s goofy. If anyone remembers Kenchi Man or has seen the videos, a chunk of that is what I’m referring to. If you haven’t seen it, prepare yourself and look up the videos. He’s something else LOL. That side of him is somewhat hidden now but it’s still there. Er, he’s a lot more chill now I should say.

Six, he’s sexy…I’ll just leave it at that. It also hurts me that he knows this too

Kenchi was my second bias in LDH and is my oldest bias that I have so far. Thanks to him, I learned about the 2ND and the rest of EXILE and the rest is history. I consider him my gateway bias along with Alan haha.

That’s why he’s my fave^^.
