Tiny Review: Mars Express 2023. Really good cyberpunk mystery.

I love this. Layered setting. Nuanced characters. Intriguing plot.

I like how it layers a usurping organic element on top of the traditional cyberware.  

I like the way Carlos subverts the directive 7.

I like the action and mystery.

The keyboard layout is very interesting(functional!) too.

I think the story veered too much into a philosophical sci-fi slant in the end, when it should have focused on a cathartic end for the main characters. This would have made it a Must Watch. Still, I hope it wins awards.

Mars Express is a 2023 French animated neo-noir science fiction film co-written and directed by Jérémie Périn. It stars the voices of Léa Drucker and Mathieu Amalric.
