“Don’t say what. You’re not a-- thing, something like a what. You’re a who. What is reserved for inanimate objects and me when I have to ask twelve times about something.”
A smile ekes its way onto Trish’s face-- there are caps set properly on her teeth, now, and they’re concealing and give the illusion she’s still completely human. Which is fine, because she doesn’t want to let Wynonna know she’s-- not. Maybe she’s afraid of the backlash. Maybe she’s afraid she’s becoming the what she just talked about. She folds her arms over her chest, over the day’s tank top cut close to developing muscle tone, a warm yellow, over expensive designer jeans. Her hair’s still messy, still a little ruffled, still in its natural state-- shorter, now, cut so that it hangs just below her neck. Easy to muss.
“You can’t bullshit a bullshitter, you know,” She steps silently heel-to-toe into her own bedroom-- it was privacy given, space politely afforded, but Trish breaks it, now, for the sake of familiarity, “I missed you, asshole.”
@leadkiss replied to your post: ooc. so we keep getting vague hints and minor...
I totally agree w/ you, I just thought the reference to him not being fully human was about his metal bones.
ooc. yeah i get you and that was the first place my mind went too but honestly the constantly shifting goal posts of what exactly jeremy can do is really annoying. like it’s been 2 seasons i doubt we’re going to get an actual explanation of what his backstory and powers are unless we get it through robin. and by that i mean jeremy telling robin. i love robin, he’s a fun guy, but the fact that his finally being angry at doc isn’t all the shit he’s done to wyn it’s about robin is frustrating. the fact that robin is being used as “character development” ( i use that term extremely loosely ) is even more frustrating. it’s like they won’t let anyone ( except bobo who i love ) in this show grow outside a boyfriend or girlfriend. yes jeremy deserves to be happy but the fact that if we get any sort of backstory for him finally it will likely be through a white boyfriend and not through his relationship with dolls, another moc with a shared history and a non romantically oriented relationship is forever going to bother me.
leadkiss replied to your post “the new bp trailer is incredible but the fucking yt comments are...”
never read the comments they're always a hellscape
see my dumb ass hasn’t read yt comments in years and forgot how bad they are. i thought “hey, i wonder if anyone else thinks killmonger’s suit is reminiscent of bleeding edge armor” and instead i got the “we wuz kangz” 900 times in a row and several people who literally just posted “i hate black people” like oh yeah. that’s why i haven’t read comments in so long.
leadkiss replied to your post “.”
literally same
It’s just such a powerful scene? You have Diana deciding to stop hiding and listening to everyone tell her ‘just keep moving’, deciding instead to do something, to do what she feels is Right, and that coming in the wake of all the scenes where she didn’t do something, where she listened to Steve and co about how she couldn’t help the horses, help the child, help the wounded man. It’s Diana coming into her own power, not just of what she’s capable of, but also what she stands for. And in a way, it’s more powerful than her realizing that she is the god-killer, because it’s more personal. The God-killer can kill Ares, can kill a concept. Diana crossing No Man’s Land saved people. Actual, real people. She watched them dance, party, drink, celebrate.
leadkiss replied to your post: “aides” potentially meaning something...
persephone, goddess of the little flowers that grow up between the ribs of creatures that have long since died.
@leadkiss is so good to me
