NOVEMBER  14TH  2018  -  The  new  boy  group,  COSMIC  debuts.

On  November  14th  2018 in Seoul, South Korea,  a  new  boy  group  emerged  under  SATURN  ENTERTAINMENT  (  STE  ),  who  also  have  other  groups  &  artists  within  their  label  with  similar  themes,  such  as  STARSH1NE,  MILKYW4Y,  JUNIPER,  &  SHOOTINGSTAR.

COSMIC  consists  of  five  members  :

JUNGMIN  (  Jung  Cheol-min  -  far  left  )  -  Main  Dancer.  Lead  Rapper.  Songwriter.  Choi  Jiyong  (  left  )  -  Visual.  Lead  Vocalist.  Songwriter.  Kim  Yu-jin  (  centre  )  -  Leader.  Rapper.  Dancer.  Face. Song  Hyunwoo  (  right  )  -  Secondary Vocalist. Dancer. Huang  Gang  (  far  right  )  -  Lead  Vocalist.  Sub  Rapper.  Visual.

All  of  them  had  met  during  their  trainee  days,  developing  a  close  bond  over  time  in  hopes  that  when  they  debuted,  they  would  debut  together,  and  they  did.  A  group  whose  theme  centers  around  individualism  and  being  a  part  of  something  bigger,  COSMIC  gained  popularity  fast  and  continued  to  do  so  until  2025.  Their  fanbase  are  known  as  COMETS,  and  each  member  of  COSMIC  has  an  animal-like  mascot,  all  colored  like  their  respective  planets  that  they  are  named  after.  Their  light  stick  also  depicts  the  handle  as  a  chrome  rocket  ship,  an  orb  on  top  with  a  ring  around  it  representing  the  planet  Saturn.  The  ring  will  light  up  with  Fiber  optics  that  spell  out  COSMIC  in  multiple  colors.

JUNGMIN  -  A  chinchilla  named  Sueun  (  Mercury  ).  Choi  Jiyong  -  A  bull  named  Myeong-wangseong  (  Pluto  ).  Kim  Yu-jin  -  A  bear  named  Jigu  (  Earth  ).  Song  Hyunwoo  -  A  fruit bat  named  Toseong  (  Saturn  ).  Huang  Gang  -  a  fox  named  Mogseong  (  Jupiter  ).

From  2018-2024,  COSMIC  became  world-renowned.  Several  tours  around  the  country,  two  full-scale  international  world  tours,  other  international  tours  here  and  there  --  they  were  insanely  busy.  They  had  appeared  on  several  variety  shows  as  well,  and  have  a  series  that  follows  them  like  any  other  group  does.  Fans  would  ship  Cheol-min  and  Jiyong  for  their  chemistry,  despite  the  two  of  them  dancing  around  their  true  feelings.  Their  success  and  their  friendship  amongst  the  five  of  them  continued  to  grow.  They  were  a  family.

Until  June  15th,  2024.  When  their  lives  &  careers  would  take  a  turn  due  to  the  ACCIDENT that  happened  at  the  Seoul  Olympic  Hall. Cheol-min’s major injuries were two broken legs & broken pelvis, as well as damage to the lower spine. He was just out of the way enough to not be paralyzed. His little brother, Dae-ho, finally makes his debut under Scarlet Letter Entertainment ( SLE ) with the boy group known as BEASTM4CHINE.

JUNE  15th,  2025.  -  A  year  after  the  accident.

It  took  FIVE  MONTHS  for  Cheol-min  to  heal,  which  left  him  mostly  wheelchair  &  bed  bound.  His  parents  had  to  make  the  house  more  accessible  and  Cheol-min’s  room  was  moved  to  the  main  floor.  He  adopts  a  service  dog,  a  golden  retriever  named  BOMI.  The  timing  was  lucky  (  in  a  sense  )  as  he  was  able  to  apply  and  get  into  LAW  SCHOOL  before  the  school  year  started.  He  had  moved  back  from  Seoul  to  his  home  city  of  Daegu,  which  is  a  1.5  hour  train  ride  from  Seoul  (  or  a  4  hour  car  ride  ).  During  this  time,  Cheol-min’s  classes  were  a  mix  of  online  &  in  person.  It  remained  this  way  even  after  he  managed  to  move  to  the  on  campus  dorms  of  his  university.  After  5  months  of  healing  he  was  sent  to  PHYSICAL  REHAB  to  relearn  how  to  walk,  which  took  another  five  months.  By  June  2025,  he  was  able  to  walk  again  but  on  bad  days  will  need  a  cane.  COSMIC  is  still  thriving  as  a  now  FOUR  PERSON  GROUP.

SEPTEMBER  8th,  2025  -  SEPTEMBER  26th  2025  —  Soo-jin  &  moving  back  to  Seoul.

In  September  of  2025,  things  have  started  to  take  a  turn  for  the  worst.  There  had  been  suspicions  of  HAN  SOO-JIN,  also  known  as  BEASTM4KER,  not  being  what  he  seemed.  His  behaviour  and  attitude  towards  DAE-HO  leaves  a  sour  taste  in  the  mouth  of  Cheol-min  &  his  friends.  COSMIC  had  run  ins  with  Soo-jin  before,  mostly  at  events  where  the  group  would  be  around  other  groups  and  idols,  but  now,  Soo-jin  was  targeting  Cheol-min’s  little  brother,  and  with  the  information  they  have  currently  gathered  about  him  had  Cheol-min  make  a  few  connections  of  who  &  what  Soo-jin  REALLY  is.

Dangerous  doesn’t  even  begin  to  describe  it.  Fans  of  BEASTM4KER  have  been  going  missing  here  and  there  for  years,  and  bodies  would  be  found  strung  up  as  grotesque  shrines  around  the  city  —  yet  somehow  no  connections  could  be  made  to  Soo-jin.  LEE  HA-JOON,  another  member  of  BEASTM4CHINE  &  Dae-ho’s  friend,  was  murdered  on  SEPTEMBER  20th,  2025  —  found  with  his  heart  ripped  from  his  chest  and  the  organ  missing.  Then,  another  member  of  the  group,  PARK  JAE-BEOM  was  murdered  on  OCTOBER  26th  2025,  his  body  found  without  his  hands.  While  some  think  this  is  a  ‘copycat  killer’  so  Seoul’s  currently  infamous  and  unknown  serial  killer  (  Soo-jin  ),  Cheol-min  and  his  friends  have  made  the  following  connections.

Soo-jin  is  the  SERIAL  KILLER  setting  up  the  ‘corpse  shrines’.

Soo-jin  is  a  DEMON.

Soo-jin  is  the  BEAST  OF  HANYANG  from  over  200  years  ago  —  a  notorious  serial  killer  in  the  1800s  who  slaughtered  many  within Korea,  China  &  Japan.

Soo-jin  KILLED  his  bandmates.

Soo-jin  is  going  to  KILL  Dae-ho.

Soo-Jin is Jiyong’s 8th generational grandfather.

Worried  about  his  little  brother’s  fate,  Cheol-min  moves  back  to  Seoul  and  back  into  the  COSMIC  dorms  with  his  friends,  TRANSFERRING  to  a  university  in  Seoul  as  the  semester  ends  in  hopes  to  save  his  DELUSIONAL  baby  brother.  But  now  with  Cheol-min  back  in  the  city,  Soo-jin  is  playing  with  his  food,  TORMENTING  the  group  and  attempting  to  drive  WEDGES  between  them  so  he  can  fulfill  his  goal  of  killing  Dae-ho  &  keeping  his  body  as  a  collectible  for  an  ETERNITY.

September  20th,  2025  —  Times  Square,  Seoul.

After  what  seemed  to  be  a  quiet  few  months  regarding  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑  𝐎𝐅  𝐒𝐄𝐎𝐔𝐋,  it  seems  as  though  another  body  has  appeared  in  the  city.  A  citizen  had  called  911  immediately  when  she  noticed  the  body,  tied  up  to  a  wooden  pyre  like  the  other  corpse-like  shrines  left  by  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑  outside  of  Times  Square  Mall.   The  call  was  made  at  6  :  00  AM  on  Saturday,  September  20th  2025.  The  citizen  was  on  her  way  to  work  when  she  suddenly  saw  the  body  hanging.  The  woman  described  that  the  body  attached  to  the  pyre  was  bound  at  the  wrists  and  ankles,  𝐀  𝐆𝐀𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐆  𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐄  in  his  chest  with  his  heart  missing,  &  his  head  tipped  forward,  eyes  open  &  rolled  back.

𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐃  𝐖𝐀𝐒  𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐃  𝐀𝐒  𝐋𝐄𝐄  𝐇𝐀-𝐉𝐎𝐎𝐍  (  23  ),  one  of  the  rappers  of  𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐓  𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑  𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓’𝐒  new  boy  group,  𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐌𝟒𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐄,  whose  other  members  include  Han  Soo-jin  (  𝐁𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐌𝟒𝐊𝐄𝐑  ) , 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐉𝐀𝐄-𝐁𝐄𝐎𝐌, & 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐆  𝐃𝐀𝐄-𝐇𝐎  (  younger  brother  to  retired  𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐂  member,  Jung  Cheol-min  /  𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐌𝐈𝐍  ).

Authorities  suspect  that  this  may  be  a  𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐘  𝐂𝐀𝐓  𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑,  for  as  similar  as  the  murder  &  the  way  it  was  presented  is  similar,  it  was  noted  that  the  body  was  not  𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐃  like  the  other  victims  of  𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑,  leaving  the  victim  identifiable,  as  well  as  the  victim’s  heart  was  missing  from  the  scene  as  a  whole.

Authorities  are  still  currently  working  on  identifying  the  causes,  reasoning  & investigating  any  clues  that  may  lead  to  what  they  assume  is  a  𝐂𝐎𝐏𝐘  𝐂𝐀𝐓  𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐑.

𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐄𝐓  𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑  𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓  has  not  made  any  comments  as  of  yet  regarding  the  murder  itself,  but  asks  that  your  thoughts  are  with  the  deceased's  friends,  family  &  groupmates  as  they  handle  the  loss  in  this  trying  time.

To say, that Seo - Joon was doing his BEST, was too drastic an understatement. Days, which should have been spent sleeping, were then survived. All for Yu-Jin, and his friends. Joonie, could not bring himself to FIGHT any of demon - kind, nor raise a hand against any other ; but he could be an emotional buoy. Some semblance of hope. Hope, that things, on the other side of this storm, would be alright.

Kiss is chaste, barest, and those words come once more. I LOVE YOU. His heart, he swears, seizes and beats for a moment, an almost painful little death. A reminder, of where he dwells on the mortality spectrum. But he smiles. Oh, does he smile. Yu is pulled closer, by hips until he's flush to undead partner.

He speaks in a tone almost hush ; compared to his excitable tone. There's no shame, of course, but the words are still so alien on his tongue, tumbling from his lips. When did he last love anyone, in a way that extended beyond the PLATONIC ?

Unawares, was he caught. Kiss is gentle, and soft - speedy, more akin to a peck that lingers. Yet, nearly every touch, on Yu - Jin's part, was more than enough to bring some sort of flutter, to vampire's stomach. He'd smile, laugh quietly to himself. Words were kind, gentle and rounded, but acts of affection had a tendency to fluster him more. Hand shifts, to keep human from pulling too far away, another kiss quickly stolen.

Idol life was ... challenging, but not devoid of fun. That being said, however, Seo - Joon could SAFELY SAY, he hadn't needed to put so much work and effort into anything, aside from keeping up appearances. What a pain.

True, that in his lifetime, he'd lived it relatively ALONE ; but Seo - Joon liked to believe he was apt enough at showing his affections. His feelings. Maybe he'd been too aloof. Maybe he'd been too coy. Frown etches into his expression, shoulders slumping from their somewhat taught posture.

with cheol-min back home in daegu now, studying law like the big lawyer man that he was ━━ the other members of COSMIC seemed to have taken dae-ho under their wing, so to speak. a whole group of men that had seemingly taken in dae-ho as they were his big brothers now too ! it was nice, he had to admit that it got a little lonely not having his actual brother so close to him anymore, so the fact that he'd seemingly gained an extra four ( mind you, jiyong still freaks him out, even now ) was a comfort.

it wasn't often that he stayed within COSMIC's dorms, very rare that he was able to leave his own without being questioned on it either ; but he takes the opportunity when it presents itself, a night filled with laughter and joy and . . . drama free. it's nice. and sure, it'd be nicer if minnie was here in the first place, but still, his brother's former bandmates had never been anything other than good to him.

hours pass, and soon enough, dae-ho is passed out on the couch, the other's having gone to bed and the tv playing quietly in the background. it's movement that wakes up, heavy blanket placed over his body and fingers that run through his hair ; a comforting gesture, but they only serve to wake him up.
