Well that was hard 😂 It may not have gone as planned but I ran a good race. The competition was fierce as hell and for the highest 10k in America, I'm pretty freaking proud of my place. This summer has been for traveling and I'm happy how I have spent my time. I freaking love this place. It's the last one for a while, so I am making it my big hurrah! The #leadvilleraceseries has become such a large part of my life and how I define who I am. These hills teach you more about yourself than anything I've ever experienced. My triumphant moments, and low moments alike, have lead to dirt streaked tears (good and bad) that have never failed to teach me about who I am, have been, and want to be. The #LT100 is in my future, but for right now, I'm setting my sights on the 10K, once again. I placed second in age last year, and I'm back to claim first.
