Family Fic Idea

I love kid fics and fics where Marinette and Adrien take on characteristics of their respective animal, so I had to come up with an idea that combines them.

When Marinette finds out she’s pregnant with nonuplets, she lets out a string of curses that even she didn’t know she was capable of. The doctors are shocked when they all make it to 24 hours post birth, then one week, then one month, and so on. The Agreste nonuplets become the first set of nonuplets to make it past infancy and later into adulthood, and there is not a physician out there who can figure out how they managed to have nonuplets naturally, much less have them all survive without any health issues. Since there were so many of them, they were each assigned a color to keep better track of them.

Emma Lian, the oldest, was born kicking and screaming and cannot be trusted alone without anything to do. She is eternally in motion, out with friends whenever she gets the chance. By the time she was 15, she’d been arrested three times for trying to break into the catacombs to go exploring. Her color is mint green.

Soleil Clara, born Hugo Mathias, is the most athletic of the crowd and made it clear at a very early age that she was a girl and wanted to fence like her father. It came in handy after she found a butterfly brooch sitting in a box on her bed one day. Her color is lavender.

Oliver Simon is the traditional nerd of the clan, his nose eternally in a book. At the age of 16, he led his school’s mathletes to victory in a nationwide competition. His color is sky blue.

Mai Camille is the musical type and can play both the piano and the violin. When she isn’t playing music herself, she’s listening to it through her headphones. Her color is orange.

Adele Aria, stuck right in the middle, is into robotics and inventing. She started out with Lego robot sets and moved on to designing her own creations by the time she was eight. Her color is pink.

Cai Leo loves to cook and will readily spend all day in the kitchen. His grandparents have tried to teach him how to bake, but he keeps on adding things that should not be added to their recipes. His color is red.

Devin Grace is an artsy child, anything from colored pencils to sculpting. She’s constantly got paint on her face, but at least her work is pretty put together. Her color is peach.

Louis Noah is the outdoorsy type, constantly enjoying the city and looking for new adventures. When given the chance, he’ll choose a nice afternoon hike over anything else. His color is yellow.

Izabelle Rose, the youngest Agreste, is lowkey and prepared to go with the flow. She keeps her head down and is content as long as she has a journal to write down her thoughts and ideas with her. Her color is forest green.

Leadville 100 Training #1 1/16/17 1.63 miles, 10:49 overall pace. Negative splits. First run in MONTHS. I ran to the bank to make a deposit. My race entry fee ($337!) has been paid. It snowed 6" overnight. This took the pressure off of running fast on this run. My route was on road with one steep hill followed by a long gradual decline. Legs felt pretty good, breathing was fairly stable. I ate a banana and a GU before my run.
