Damn, just wrote an awesome fight scene, but now I have to write like five chapters that lead up to it. Devastating

I need help coming up with evil things to do in the next chapter of my fic. There are a few things that need to happen in this chapter to get to the next evil and exciting bit, but bridging the gap is turning my brain to mush 😭. Preferably I would like to do these evil things to Duke Thomas or Cassandra Cain, for I fear I haven't hurt them enough yet 😭. Psychological torture preferred but not necessarily the only acceptable things.

It feels more like a threat than a gift, and it's up to batman's kids and closest allies to figure out what the hell is going on. It ends at the beginning, and things are quickly going off the rails.
