Leah Jefferies as Annabeth Chase

Okay so listen. I'm not proud of this but at the beginning even I was *apprehensive* to accept Leah as Annabeth, because of this "picture" of Annabeth that I had in my head. This was before i saw her on screen and I heard her say "you drool in your sleep" I feel so horrible for doubting Leah for even a minute because she is a beautiful, talented amazing actress and I love her so much. Annabeth, for me, has been a huge part of my life. Percy Jackson, Rick Riordan's work, all of it, has been a really big part of my childhood since I was like 10-11 years old and Annabeth was my favourite, but i always felt i could never be like Annabeth because she was so smart, strong, courageous and down-right beautiful with her blonde hair and storm eyes and cali accent. Leah being Annie changed all my views about it and questioned everything i believed, she made me wonder, "Annie is not about any of that, she not her blonde hair or her grey eyes or her tanned skin, she's about her courage, her wisdom and her talent" anyone can be Annabeth and they just have to be brave enough. I love that Leah is Annabeth and i support her completely. I'm so excited to see what Leah is going to give us as Annabeth and I'm looking forward to all the pjo content we'll get with her and Walker and Aryan.

alright, now that we know leah isn’t going to change her hair color for annabeth i have an idea

she keeps her hair in whatever she wants but in its natural color

the only time we see her blonde is on circe’s island

circe gives her blonde braids

after annabeth frees percy and they are back on the boat we see leah taking them out

he asks why and she say

“being blonde is kind of your thing”

she spends the rest of the quest with her natural hair

For y'all wondering how Rick Riordan is responding to the criticism of Leah Jeffries:

i don’t give a shit about their hair and you clearly don’t either bc grover is supposed to be ginger and i haven’t heard shit about aryan

the only thing pertaining to their hair that i care about is the matching grey streaks they get in titans curse. if they do not get matching grey streaks i will loose it

The 2nd one is “Something from Tiffany’s”, another Christmas tale this based upon a set of Christmas presents being mixed up, a set of earrings & and an engagement ring. Christmas morning the wrong presents are presented to the wrong person. The story revolves around the correcting of the error. Again the writing and acting are top quality. The leads being Zoey Deutch and Kendrick Sampson, with Ray Nicholson & Shay Mitchell filling out the couples. Don’t cut out Leah Jeffries, who steals her scenes. Both these films are worth your time, and then you can save “Die Hard” for Christmas Eve 😉.

Creature features are a mainstay of the horror genre. Jaws has been the gold standard of all creature features since it premiered in 1974.
