Stephan sprawled in the summer sun, taking deep breaths of air in through his nose. It smelled nice today. It was almost summer and the ground radiated warmth, it was nice; sort of like the feeling you get in a hug. He allowed his head to fall to the side, looking over at the roots of a tree which reached out to him, needing. Sure St. Deveraux was great, but sometimes he missed the simplicity of being alone with only the trees to judge; and they were not as harsh as humans.
He wiped his hand over his face and ignored the sound of his phone ringing, barely remembering just a couple nights ago. He was drunk, dancing in the club with a brunette. A man. There was an exchange of flirtations and the next thing he knew his back was slamming into the wall of an alleyway; the rest is just up to the imagination. Was it classy? No. Did he feel guilty? Double no.
However, he never really realized what sleeping with someone entailed; the guy had never contacted him again, and damn did his ass hurt. He looked over to see a figure rising over a not-too-distant hill. He sat up and squinted, but he couldn't quite make out who it was. The sun blotched out the figure, so he stood up to try and make them out.
Leah. He smiled; he definitely needed to talk with her, it had been a while and he had to admit that he had missed her.
