Leakycon Report~

Leaky was pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself. I'm glad I was able to go for at least one day. I talked with some pretty cool people, and got some great merch. The Potter actors were all awesome at the discussion panel (I could listen to Irish accents forever), and I enjoyed the other panels I went to. The wand guy in particular did a great job at his panel.

So, pathetic review over. BUT IT WAS FUN. If Leaky wasn't at Orlando next year, I'd totally go... but I dunno about going to Florida in the summer. WE SHALL SEE.

And Quiddich-Ginny cosplayer? If you see this, you got this Europe trip. DO IT. =D

LEAKYCONNNNN

So, I finally decided that money is for losers. I can't go for the whole convention, but I'll be attending Leakycon Portland on Friday! I was so happy when they put up the single-day passes, but was still waffling because money (and I didn't know my work schedule). But today I was like SCREW IT THIS IS IMPORTANT.

I'm so excited to see a con full of Harry Potter fans! I've never been too involved in the Potter fandom... but maybe this will change things. SEE YOU CHAPS SOON.

Hunger Games pendants for my LeakyCon Portland Craft Faire booth! I have three each of all the Hogwarts House colors, 3 white quartz, and 4 pearls, reminiscent of Peeta's gift to Katniss in the Quarter Quell before everything goes to hell.

apparently we're losing one of our leakycon roomates :/ so if anyone needs a place to stay, let me know! we're staying at a super cheap hotel and there's currently four lovely ladies! i would really love to refund the girl who can no longer come and have her portion of the room covered by someone else, so if anyone needs a last minute, super cheap place to stay ($100 for 5 nights), message me!! :)
