I love that video from LeakyCon London in 2013 where Joey’s singing sidekick and he doesn’t hit the high note and he makes a face and then he undershoots it again and he just moans and rolls his eyes and then holds the last “love” longer than usual because he’s extra and amazing more than anything

Fandom Music & Musicals: AT LEAKYCON ("La Vie Boheme" Parody)

Published on 26 Jun 2014 In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the epic opening ceremony of LeakyCon Portland in June of 2013, here is the amazing, professionally mastered track from the finale number "At LeakyCon!", a fandom shipping parody of the song "La Vie Boheme" from RENT, in video form so you can see it in all its glory! Download this song on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/album/at-leakycon-la-vie-boheme/id722944911# I have always wanted to go to a Convention of any of the many fandoms that I love, but have yet to do so for various reasons, so every Summer when it is time for LeakyCon, which, of course is a HUGE Harry Potter Convention, I love seeing all the LeakyCon news, photos, music, videos and everything that blow up my Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and Instagram feeds every Summer, so when I first saw the original copy of this "La Vie Boheme" parody, I was all like, "OH MY GOD, It IS A RENT SONG PARODY ENCOMPASSING MULTIPLE FANDOMS - AND THAT IS ANTHONY RAP, WHO PLAYS MARK IN THE MOVIE AND MUSICAL VERSIONS OF RENT, WEARING HIS RENT COSTUME WITH HIS SCARF." And, then I proceeded to watch this video all year, including today, with this newly professionally mastered track from the finale number "At LeakyCon!". I also got myself a copy of it. -grins- So of course I had to share it. I hope everyone enjoys this "La Vie Boheme" Parody as much as I do! <3
