Milo sighed as he looked up at the clouds. He couldn’t believe is mother was gone. He knew parents aren’t suppose to live forever but the fact that both of his parents died at a young age bother him. The fact that they won’t see him or Eitan get married, won’t get see their grandkids, won’t be able to see him be successful. All he has is his brother and if anything happened to him, he honestly wouldn’t even know what to do.
Leanne was own her way home when she seen Milo sitting on the picnic table. She heard about his mother passing away and felt awful. Even though they break up was kind of bad, she still love and care about him. She walked up to him and cleared her throat. “Hi…”
Milo was startled but was happy to see it was Leanne. “Hey…”
“Can I sit with you?”
Milo nodded. “Yes.”
Leanne sat next to him but didn’t want to get to close, it would just feel awkward if she got that close to him. “I’m so sorry to hear about your mother.”
Milo sighed. “Me too but my brother and I knew it was coming we just didn’t know it was going to be this soon.”
“If there’s anything you need, I’m here for you. Even though we broken up, I’m still here.”
Milo smiled. “I appreciate it.”
Leanne looked at her phone. “I should get back home.”
“I’ll walk you. I have an umbrella and the weather man said it was going to rain today.”
Leanne looked at the sky. “Rain? It’s the perfect weather but if you want to come you can.”
