Stayed at the school for 14 hours today, worked through my lunch (mostly), IEP meeting during plan, and PD after work; but managed to plan and prep my entire week and Monday so I don’t have to plan over the weekend (may possibly do this every Monday?). Ran to the grocery store at 9. Put away groceries, prepped lunch and breakfast, made my teammate a breakfast burrito because I love her, folded some laundry, tidied the house, and am getting ready for bed. I know it’s Wednesday already tomorrow but the rest of this week should go really, really smoothly. I’ve been teaching for four weeks now, actually been at this job for six (orientation and then weeklong setup, professional development and planning) and like, I finally feel like I know what the fuck I’m doing. 👌🏻

Also it’s like trying to sing in klingon with a mouthful of marbles.

It took me a semester of drawing comics to figure it out, but I think my work looks far more expressive when I do it in brush.
