Alphabet H
Another quick set up activity to practice some letters: We put post it’s with capital letters up for M to match to big index cards. I gave them to her in order A-Z this time. Next time, I’ll mix up the cards. She only “had” to match the letters really, but I enjoyed seeing how many she did know! . For H, we put letters to spell some different sight words on cards. He got a little frustrated when I was asking him about the letters — still gets confused on some lowercase ones — but did an awesome job. . Activities like this remind me that they are such different learners, maybe somewhat due to age but also personality. H is more like me — less likely to guess an answer because he doesn’t like to get it wrong...likes to be challenged but not “too” much bc clearly he wants to set himself up to win 😜. I dunno who M takes after, but she loves for learning activities to be set up like a race or a competition and is willing to guess (even if she usually is wrong). Yet another reason I’m thankful that they are so close and that they can push AND support each other this year. (When they aren’t literally physically pushing each other.) . #earlyliteracy #learningabcs #sightwords #homeschoolpreschool #siblings #learningthroughplay #learningathome https://www.instagram.com/p/CEqGVsZlr_M/?igshid=lz8jjz0ch5w0
